EBay purchase of lawn mower accessories (small package) on 8 May 2019 via seller in USA. Shipped via eBay global shipping service and on arrival in UK on 18 July passed to Yodel for final delivery. Despite accurate address which is easily found on Google maps etc, Yodel have systematically raised Delivery Attempt Query notices to explain non delivery. Because Yodel have not assigned the transaction a dedicated Yodel reference record, it's automated customer service system blocks any attempt to resolve the company's inability to deliver said goods. No attempt by courier service to reach out to either seller or buyer to expedite delivery. In effect package stuck in Yodel delivery depot 40 miles from intended destination with no focus on customer service.

Absolutely rubbish - I have waited two days for a parcel that they just did not bother delivering. Both days I watched the tracking and it got very close and then it just switched to 'We tried to deliver your parcel but couldn't access your property.' Utter nonsense - my office window is directly above the door and I can 100% confirm that no delivery was attempted on both days. Contacting the company I was told that they were unable to contact the driver and could do nothing about it (like the driver doesn't have a mobile!!). Just ridiculous - I'm super angry as desperately needed this parcel today for taking on holiday tomorrow - delivery tomorrow is too late! Do not use this company as they failed to do the one job they're supposed to do!!!!

Its not hard, put box in van, drive to gps reference, open door, drop box off! Doctors and nurses make life changing decisions in seconds, firefighters can assess and save lives in seconds, builders can look at a plan and build a house, B&Q CAN STACK a thousand shelves overnight, i can purchase any item in any corner shop 24hrs a day. But yodel cant put a box in a van and go from A to B. Its not hard, its a box!!!!!!!

How on earth can this company still be in business??????? There job is to deliver, ___ pick box up, drive, drop box off. How hard can it be??????

Disgraceful, my sister is in tears now. She ordered a collectors item off eBay for my 17th birthday. We rang yodel, they said the driver delivered it to this address (which was the wrong address) then they said they delivered to this address (which was once again the wrong address also the house was abandoned no one lived their). They then said they'd put it as "High priority". We've been calling since February, every time we call them they hung up. We then contacted the seller off eBay and they said it was delivered. #got robbed. Yodel sucks, use Royal mail. (DO NOT USE YODEL UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOSE YOUR MONEY AND BE LIED TO)

Told mattress would be delivered Saturday. They tried and failed to deliver the Friday before (we were at work). So after a rude standard voice message from Yodel, managed to get redelivery for the Monday between 7:40am and 9pm. Stayed in all day off work for delivery and nothing was delivered. No reason given on tracking. Appalling service. Really diabolical.

Parcel delivered to neighbours house, despite the neighbours repetadly telling the driver the driver that he was at the wrong address. Seems like they dont really care where they deliver. Its a bit of a lottery really, hopefully your neighbours are honest like mine.

I buy and sell using Ebay and had the misfortune to order something from the USA that was to be delivered to my UK address by Yodel. The tracking stated that the parcel had been delivered when it hadn't. I contacted Yodel through the webchat (not possible to email) and was given the driver's number. I called him and texted him but no response. I got back onto Webchat and was told they would escalate the matter and an investigation with the driver would be undertaken and that they would update me as soon as possible. I called the following two days to be told that the driver had posted the parcel through the letterbox. I live in an apartment building with secure access and with the letterboxes on the inside of the building. Had the driver been able to get through the main door, it would be clear that the mail boxes are too small to allow a parcel to be posted. I again phoned Yodel and was told they would chase this up for me. 5 days later after the parcel was supposedly delivered I again contacted Yodel. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told there were none available. I asked to speak to someone in complaints and was told they could only note my complaint and pass it on. The Customer Service Representative then told me that the driver had stated that he had spoken to me on the phone and told me where the parcel had been left. THIS WAS COMPLETELY UNTRUE. It would not take Sherlock Holmes to check the drivers phone and ask him where the record of the call was. They repeated what I have been told each time I call, that they will escalate the matter and someone will get in touch with me.......I do not hold out much hope. I called back Yodel a fifth and final time to try and get someone to deal with my complaint and the female operator started sniggering on the phone. This is the most appalling courier service I have ever encountered (I use courier companies a lot for buying and selling on Ebay). There is no UK customer service, as the lines are redirected to a call centre in South Africa and it is impossible to get someone to deal with your complaint. My advice to anyone reading this is DO NOT USE YODEL UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. If there are any problems at all with delivery, there is no one who will step up and help you

Absolutely shocking customer care. Received email saying parcel delivered-it hadnt'? Contacted Yodel 'customer care' waited on hold for 18 mins, told by unhelpful person, reading od=ff script saying it wasn't their problem, and that I needed to phone my contacts up to see who had sent the the parcel, to see if they had out the correct contact details on the parcel??? ''we dont send out emails, i was told despite me looking at an email 'donotreply@yodel.co.uk?? Cant believe the apathetic attitude of 'its not our problem. DISGUSTING customer care , proper shocking. Basically, anyone can sign for a parcel and get it, even if its not theirs, and Yodel will do nothing about it

I really need to speak to an actual person to discuss fraudulent use of my details, however every phone number for yodel is ALL automated, there's NO fraud dept, no customer service, not even a roughtime frame given, just wait in all day from 7am till 10pm.... useless absurd company

Can NEVER speak to an actual person, line keeps hanging up, they don't give sought arrival time just 7am till 10pm, it's a farce, I've been trying to contact yodel as someone is fraudulently using MY details, I want this fixed NOW but u cant talk t9 anyone so let's just get frauded then

Worst delivery company! Both scheduled delivers I was in to receive my parcel, but the driver refused to buzz the button to allow the gates to open the first attempt the second attempt I asked the driver to leave the parcel by the gate even though I was in ( but new he wouldn’t want to get our the van to press the buzzer) and as I was watching the tracker the driver never even attempted to deliver that day (clearly couldn’t be bothered). When I checked the status online it said the driver was unable to deliver again! There was no slip in the letterbox so he just didn’t stop by the property. I am absolutely furious and the nearest depot is 50 minute drive.

High value item delivered to wrong address (no card put through my door to tell me where it actually ended up). Phoned customer service who gave me the courier’s phone number. The most obnoxious man I have ever spoken to!!! He admits leaving the item at completely the wrong address, with a woman who forged my signature so it would match the name on the parcel!! He asked her to give it back and she is refusing so apparently there’s “nothing else he can do.” I’m £300 out of pocket and all Yodel can suggest is contacting the police. They know their useless driver is at fault but won’t do anything about it!

Yodel delivery drivers are complete idiots hahahaa omg. I've been up since this morning looking out window to watch out for driver who says they tried knocking on. Why didn't they ring me or even leave an calling card clearly want wrong house now I'm not gone get my parcel due to busy with work so annoyed. Sort your employees out

Extraordinarily poor experience. Bought 2 items. Both poor quality. Trying to return items in a complete nightmare. Only accept courier collection for internet bought items & expected to wait in for courier for up to 13hours. Yodel contacted & blame habitat for not allowing details to be given & habitat staff blame yodel. This is a complete shambles in this day & age when you can get an 1hr window for delivery on tracked vehicles. Never am I going to purchase from habitat again. My advice, steer clear from habitat online ordering unless you want nothing but hassle.

After waiting all day for this delivery,i received and e-mail saying "sorry we missed you" from the lying Yodel driver saying they tried to deliver. Well i was in all day and no one tried to deliver and no card was left,they are just lazy liars.

It’s such shoddy service ever. Poor staff and nobody’s knows what is going on regarding delivery time and date. No wonder it’s has worse ranking in Parcelforce. Definitely not recommend.

I was informed my delivery would be between 1700-1855. At 1801 I received a text & email saying sorry we missed you???? Apparently a card was left? Well I was at home & no driver tried to deliver my parcel. Tried to have a live chat but got nowhere apart from my parcel will be delivered tomorrow! I wanted to know where the driver tried to deliver parcel tonight & left a card as it clearly wasn’t my address! Not impressed at all

What an utter fiasco, and at the end of a bad week, it was just about the final straw. Package on its way to me for delivery between 11.35 and 13.35 says the message I received this morning. I was looking forward to FINALLY getting a positive event after a rubbish couple of weeks with groupon, Amazon and Urban Decay who ALL LET ME DOWN...🤬...BADLY. Nope...no such luck. My furniture never arrived, and when I checked my tracking number on the website, it said ‘failed to get access to my property so was not delivered....WTF??..I liv3 in an average street in an average house with my property number CLEARLY visible on the front of my house so that EVERYONE CAN SEE IT! Customer services are a shambles, non existent, non human and with a ‘don’t give a rats’ attitude from a call centre somewhere ( I won’t say what I want to..) far away! You can’t speak to anyone at the depot from where your package is coming from, crikey, you can’t even speak to someone who can actually tell you anything other than the s*it on the website!! I KNOW my furniture didn’t arrive, dumbass! I want to know WHY YOU LIED! I can assure you I was here ALL DAY WAITING, so I don’t know where you ‘tried to deliver it’ but it wasn’t my house! Utter disaster! It better show up tomorrow that’s about as positive about this whole experience I can be. Two people from ‘customer services’ were going to call me back, but of course, nobody did.....

If you don't want your business to be affected then you should not use Yodel. The delivery is very poor and the customer advisers very unprofessional. Two delivery they gave me wrong information in regards to delivery. The online chat advisors are hopeless and they lie without shame. They don't want either to tell me their complain policy..... The automated answer machine on their number is very confusing and you need to wait long time until you are able to discuss with a human.
