“I’ve been trying to contact Yoga since my renewal quote to cancel (far too expensive) no contact number and no reminder of log in details! I’ve got cheaper car insurance elsewhere and today renewal came through requesting over £50 to cancel! Giving me cover today which I don’t need very poor service unable to contact direct!!!”

“Yesterday 11th of April 2023 I took out car insurance on one of your Yoga policy - While filling in the online application in the section for no claims bonus I stated that I had 6 years no claims - On receiving my documents by e-mail I find that you have only given me 5 years? This in itself is very disappointing & it felt like I was being cheated & I was - I then tried to find a contact number to call to instantly remedy this problem but found it impossible, I then went on your chat-bot line & found it equally insular & not very helpful with further investigations I got on to a live chat & was given an on screen message saying you had come to this decision due to a data base check (which was wrong) & to send proof of my documents of my no claims, these pages soon closed down & went blank without giving me the time to write down the address, I then tried to back track across the net to find it once more, this whole process had taken up most of the morning & the afternoon leaving me feeling tired & despondent so I deciding to resume the solution to this situation I find myself in with your company till today 12th of April - I have enclosed screen drops of parts of my insurance renewal with my present insurer that double states I do indeed hold 6 years No Claims at this present time. Therefore seeing you have already taken £45.52 from my Bank as a deposit I assume before taking future Direct Debits you are going to amend & give me the correct discount for my no claims & inform me at the same time of what my future payments will be reduced to, I would hope you will do this with some urgency & within the cooling off period so that I can make a conscious decision wether to conduct business & remain in contract with Yoga, as to date it would not appear to be transparent & has taken a fair amount of my precious time being a pensioner...”
“Probably the worst experience with an insurance company I have ever had. I took out the insurance but unfortunately my old insurance had auto renewed. I had to cancel one of them and the old insurance was £40 cheaper. This was 10 mins after I took out the policy, it wasn't due to start till the next day. I thought you got a 14 day cooling off period. You do but you get charged £49.99 for the privilege of cancelling. You can't talk to a human because it is a self service company!!! Not sure how you can be charged to do your own admin!!! If it is this bad cancelling, I probably had a lucky escape. If I need to make a claim, I would probably have to fix my own car and pay a fee for doing so. It says before you leave a bad review, speak to customer services. That would be fine if you had one or provided a number. You can speak to the bot, but that just rolls out the same answers whatever you ask it.”
“I have had a claim, you cannot talk to anyone, car was written off after a rather minor bump.. I now need to log in in cannot re-set password. I want to insure another car and need no claims details and impossible to get any help.”
“Renewal price was higher than other quotes. When I cancelled (after an hour and several weeks before the insurance was due to start) I was charged £49.99. When I complained that I thought there was a 14 day cooling offer period, I was told that on page 11 of Terms & Conditions it stated that Yoga Insure had the right to charge for cancellations within the cooling off period. Do they really expect customers to read pages of Ts&Cs before signing up for their insurance? Also, no telephone number to call, so any complaints have to be done via an online assistant. Not a great service I am afraid.”
“Firstly, this company tells me my car insurance has been renewed by email then later another email was sent to say my car insurance had been cancelled then I went into my account to find that it was still live,so I just totally cancelled it myself had enough getting mucked about and there should be a phone number to talk to someone not having a chat to a computer.”

“After I purchased the car insurance I wanted to know how much to insure my granddaughter for 2 months on my policy she is coming over from Australia in May 2023. I was informed only a UK licence holder is able to be insured on this policy. As I had only had the policy for a hour or so and it was not due to start for a few days. I asked to cancel the policy and for my sins I was informed it would cost me £49.99 !!!!! You cant speak with a C.S.A in person. Moving forwards Yoga have lost my business! In all honesty I don't know why I'm bothering to fill out this form 100% sure nothing will be done about it!”

This is regardless of whether your policy has started or not. It is the same charge after the 14 days cooling off period. In short, they do not offer a 14 day cooling off period!”
