“When renewing your car insurance be aware that the item under 'Your vehicle details' - 'How much did you purchase your vehicle for' does not mean this but actually means: 'Estimated Current Value', which is what appears in the 'Statement of Facts' you receive AFTER paying the premium. If you enter the amount you originally paid for your vehicle then your premium will be significantly higher than necessary and you will be charged £20 to amend this.”
“I was happy with the signing up procedure to take out my insurance cover, as well as being to access everything online.
I do however feel there should be a facility whereby the policy schedule and associated documentation can be sent out in the post (if requested). The reasons being are that some policy holders do not have a printer or access to one and others who do not have access to the internet, get friends/family/relatives to arrange the quote online on their behalf, but once a policy has been taken out, they do not have a policy schedule or associated documentation to refer to, when needs dictate.”
