I was charged for a slight change to the policy and when i had a online chat with Eleanor, she was very helpful and completely understood the situation, i was refunded the money. I am not a person that would go online normally for these kind of insurances and this experience has opened me up to maybe looking at this option in the future.”
“I have only just set up my insurance. So far so good. It was the cheapest quote and I like tje customer portal. 4/5 because there was no chat function & its not easy to speak to a person. I was easily able to cancel my initial policy when I wanted to change the start date in order to add my daughter as a named driver.
The real test will be if I ever have to make a claim. M&S were brilliant when I did earlier in the year but unfortunately their renewal came in too high.”
“It was easy to get a car quote online and to complete the deal. I read all the policy documents carefully and ended up spending about £60 more than the original quote as it seemed a bit basic. I liked that breakdown cover was included but I had to upgrade to get flat tyre cover. Anyway, I like the idea of doing it all on a portal and hopefully next year can either renew or leave without having to speak to a pushy salesman (AA, it's you I'm referring to!). So far, so good!”
