I came across My Doll Best Friend for the first time when I was searching for a particular Götz Hannah and her Dog, which is now discontinued. I am not a collector. I just had a 32cm Paola Reina Amiga and wanted something bigger, to wear the clothes that I design and make (to keep my hands and brain busy) but turn out too big. The PJ Party was the perfect compromise of a red-headed doll but not as big as a Hannah. I am so delighted with her. She is beautiful, with a very interesting face and her movable joints (first time I've had a doll like this) makes it so much easier to dress and undress, and to pose without support. One small criticism of this particular ensemble is that the sleeping bag is of a very thin cotton, not at all cosy. The slippers are gorgeous, though.
