I really like this bow and am so very glad I upgraded, factory set up bows are dire! It plays well, has good balance and is comfortable. It produces a good sound. Bows and strings are always worth buying the best you can afford, particularly as a beginner as a poor sound may not be your fault but the set up and can be very off putting.
