Very flexible and easy to put up and take down. The friction lock legs are great unless you use the tripod in very cold temperatures. I tightened the joints but the legs still tended to slip at -22c in northern Finland. Only other small negative is that the camera mounting prevents a battery change on my camera unless removed which is a little awkward. Otherwise I find the tripod very flexible, easy to use and has helped to produce some lovely shots when using longer exposures.
