Love this hoover! It's got so much more suction than my old Dyson. There are three females in my household and I've found it pulls up long hairs out the carpet so much better than the Dyson ever did so I'm guessing it's would be good for a household with pets too. It's lightweight and really easy to move around the room. The suction nozzle fits under the skirting of my sofa and furniture which is a great advantage. I've got mix of laminate flooring and carpets & rugs and its perfect on all the floors. I would definately recommend this vacuum cleaner to others
