I’ve had various real plants either side of my front door over the years but ended up killing them all.
I’d always avoided artificial plants as I thought they looked cheap and obviously fake, I was just looking in the wrong place.
Yes, these aren’t cheap but I’ve wasted far more money to date killing real plants.
These do look really good and are very well made, and are much heavy than I thought they would be. The foliage is dense and realistic looking.
I reused my existing pots that were quite large. I filled the bottom of each with half a bag of post mix concrete, bulked out with half a bag of pea gravel. This has given the bottom of the pots plenty of weight to stop them blowing over. I then secured the plant in place (still in its tiny supplied pot) using expanding foam, and then topped with some decretive slate to match the garden. It was a bit of a mess on so if you are not a practical person I’d opt for getting it supplied in the pot you want.
Overall I'm happy, the price was reasonable, delivery quick and they look good.
