Excellent product; not a barbecue but incredibly versatile (direct/ indirect method) to cook a range of things- burgers, steaks, chicken, fish, roasted vegetables, pizza and we even cooked the Christmas Turkey. Lighting the Egg is very straightforward; gauging the right temperature takes time and experience but is achievable and the purchase of a temperature gauge fork has helped. The food has a distinctive flavour and is tender and juicy. It is different to an oven. You can experiment with different charcoals. Dealing with the Alfreso team has been straightforward and the delivery prompt in the UK. We had a broken cast iron griddle which was replaced and the interaction was fair and uncomplicated. You also can tap into (through You Tube) a wider "Eggheads" community (mostly American) for recipe additions and tips, if you like!
