I was chosen to review a pair of the new performance breeches, and speaking as someone who lives in riding tights only and doesn’t do breeches, I was impressed! The ‘sock’ feature around the ankles is excellent, if you’re short like me and generally have to turn up jods this is great as you have no bulk around the ankle, and no struggle to do boots up! The fabric is lovely and comfortable and not as restrictive as I was thinking. The white are not quite full coverage so be careful about what underwear you wear, but this is only a minor point. The zipped pockets are really useful and don’t ruin the line of the breeches at all. Overall I am very impressed and whilst I won’t be giving up my riding tights any time soon I will definitely be wearing these for competitions in the future!
