Successful promotion in every facet is tricky at best. There's no magic bullet, no sure fire method (a substantial budget notwithstanding) that will guarantee sales and a shot at bestseller status. One thing is sure, though, if your book doesn't have the exposure to allow folks to make the buy/don't buy decision, no sales are guaranteed. Books Go Social, in my opinion, provides an economical means to give my name and covers the kind wide coverage I couldn't do my own. My sales fluctuate, sometimes radically, but without BGS, I don't believe I'd be in a position to put readers in that all important buy decision conundrum. BGS is worthwhile promotional tool.
