I bought two of these sconces before they had timer. Timer was a great idea.
However, my one sconce has never worked properly. Something is wrong in the inside such as maybe a loose wire. Turns on but does not stay on. If I press hard against the switch it will go back on but then turns off. Too bad because they could be very nice.
