I ordered a small appetizer and the total was below $15. The dasher sent me a message that said and I quote “I accidentally accepted your order. I’m unassigning myself from it. Maybe the total will get raised to even make it worth the drive. For the next dupe that wants to grab it.” I replied to him and said “You are horrible! I will be reporting you!” He replied and said “For what not wanting to deliver this weak paying order😂😂😂. Your food will sit there until it’s good enough for the next dasher. Have a good evening ma’am.” When I placed the order, the delivery time was 20 minutes. However, I waited for almost 2 hours for this order. When I called door dasher customer service, the representative stated and I quote “I will take this as feedback and share this to the appropriate team.” I replied “Are you serious? That’s it? What about my order and how will I be compensated for this horrible service?” The representative replied and said “We have unassigned the previous dasher and the new dasher has been assigned to your order and it will be delivered at the earliest. I replied “I will be reporting this to your corporate office first thing tomorrow morning and this will be my last order with DoorDash. Thank you for doing nothing.”
