Replaced our non transparent white cloth table covering. No chrmical smell. We elected the pebble texture mat recommended for non slip on our semi-glossy, natural tree grain table. Looks so natural. We can see the wood grain color through the semitransparent plastic. Heavy enough to be stable. Family loves it. Entertained without using a tablecloth. Wished I had known about this product sooner.
