GRIP6 does things a little differently. I got a 3-pack, 2 belts and a wallet. My first reaction to both the belt and wallet was, "Well, I'm not sure about this". After a month, I'm sold. I got Forged Carbon Fiber buckle and the Uinta Gunmetal buckle. I didn't realize the carbon fiber buckle would come with a different belt material (Element webbing, I think), but I love it. The stiffer standard webbing with the Gunmetal buckle is good, too. I wear whichever I feel like day to day. How many belts does a man need? I kind of feel like collecting these, so I don't rightly know. At first, getting the belt on and tightened was a little awkward, but within a week it's as easy as they make it look in the videos. Coming from a ratchet-style belt whose buckle comes off the belt entirely every few days, this is a big step up. I love these belts! I'm not getting out a lot these days due to the pandemic, so the wallet hasn't been ridden as hard as the belts. It's slim, an improvement over my old traditional wallet. It holds enough cards for day-to-day, but not enough that I can throw everything in there all the time. Sorry, Costco card, I'm going to have to remember to grab you before heading on a supply run. It's worth the trade-off. Card access is fun and easy. Sure, it's a gimmick, but it's a functional gimmick. I can fit my laminated cards in the leather sleeve (insurance card, employee id) and as many bills as I'm likely to carry. I got the version with the loop, and wasn't sure how I'd feel about it. I'm glad I did, now. It's something to grab when I'm reaching for the wallet, and it's somehow reassuring to put my finger through it while I've got the wallet out, as well.
