Sadly I cannot give I Love Linen their usual five star review, it’s not because their product isn’t great, it’s because their Terms and Conditions are somewhat misleading in that important ancillary information on other T&C’s is not included in the panel that you review when agreeing to them. The story, in short. Purchased the wrong size quilt cover only to find when looking up how to return the set that the good are not returnable if they are removed from their packaging. This condition was not listed in the sale T&C’s. I wrote seeking an exemption and was simply referred to the T&C’s. I wrote again asking to discuss this over the phone as they weren’t taking calls as they were busy. I did get a call back and after some discussion the administrator agreed to review the goods upon return to see if they were fit to be returned, this despite the fact that I had stated that I intended to purchase the correct size at an additional cost of $100 as the original purchase was a Black Friday deal, the difference then was only $30. I got a refund less $15 for original postage costs despite this condition not appearing anywhere on their website when I reviewed the T&C’s. I wrote and asked for a refund pointing out you can’t hold customers to account to conditions they are not advised of up front. It appears they like to make the rules up as they go with little regard for Consumer Law. What really annoys me is that I’ve purchased four sets of sheets, the quilt cover and pillowcases over the last three or so years, well over $1500 and I’ve been treated like the. Extremely disappointed, be wary.
