Complete newbie to dog grooming but as a few friends had tried and, in an effort to save on expensive grooms, I joined them. The clippers cost roughly the price of two grooms for me and as I clipper my husbands hair I thought I may be ok. I have a miniature schnauzer and although they do a specific set for them the video is for a different breed. I found a selection of good instructional videos on line but the clipper sizes were different. I worked my way down to find the right ones for what I wanted. Given they sell breed specific sets I would have appreciated a little guidance from the company themselves.Hence four stars. I think this would encourage other dog owners looking to save a fortune on grooms but who have no experience. The clippers themselves are easy to use and cut well without snagging. Could have saved myself a fortune if I had got them years ago!!!
