Things go wrong. How you resolve it is a true measure of the value of your standards. In this instance a low level order was delivered with half of it missing. It hadn’t been loaded on the van. After a few phone calls it was established that it would be sent. Having already waited a week for the delivery to be told it would be another week until delivered just wasn’t good enough. I explained that the customer had carpet going down on Thursday (3 days later) and I need an hour to get the missing lengths on. The missing items arrived at 6:30am on Thursday. The skirting went on. And all was good. I can’t give 5 stars because it still cost me £200 in the labour I had to pay out for an incomplete job due to the items not being there when they should have been. But all in all it got resolved.
