In February 2022, I purchased a game from Miniature Market and used the "Customer Hold" feature so the item could be shipped at a later date. Later in 2022, I also had two other items held. When I received the shipment in December, 2022, the item I purchased in February was missing. When I contacted MM Customer Service, I was told that Customer Hold items are not set aside when purchased. As such, final delivery is subject to whether or not the item is in stock when the item (s) are released for shipment. So, the only thing that was being held by Miniature Market for nine months was the money I paid in February for an item that wasn't placed on hold at all. Yes, I was issued a refund for the missing item, but this seems to me to be a very questionable business practice, especially since the item was bought and paid for. Very disappointed!
