I made Short Stay 2 parking booking reference LKVX0 in respect of vehicle X888 JDH from 1 p.m. on 16/10/19 until 8 p.m. 17/10/19 and paid £40.49 in advance for the pleasure! When I arrived to park up the sign said car park 'full' but assumed that would be making allowances for advance bookings so entered and tried to find my pre-booked space. I proceeded to waste 10 minutes driving around and found no spaces, so I had to park in Short Stay 1 to ensure I caught my flight. I obviously then had a Short Stay 1 ticket (Ref: 04148) and emailed to check that my pre-booking would permit me to exit and that I wouldn't be 'ripped off' for another parking charge when I returned the following day. I received an email response apologising for the error in Short Stay 2 and was assured I would be able to exit Short Stay 1 with the ticket I had, with no further charge. True to form when I got back the following evening the ticket didn't work and I was only able to exit by pressing the button and explaining the whole mess all over again.
