A claim for my dog was submitted by me on 3/17/24. Included with the claim were the bills from the ER, the veterinarians' reports and discharge documents. It was received by Pets Best on or about 3/25/24 and on or about 4/18/24 I received an Explanation of Benefits via e-mail stating that the claim was approved along with an itemization which included total cost, deductible, and my ten percent of cost. This EOB was very self-explanitory and I will be receiving a check within 5-7 days. Pets Best is very compentent, professional and compassionate. One thing I will advise those filing a claim -- please send the medical records when a claim is filed. In my opinion, it will save time by their not having to contact the veterinarian.
