I ordered a toilet for downstairs and after about a week, due to the pandemic, it arrived. Upon opening the box containing the pan I noticed it was badly damaged. I contacte Plumbworld using their returns system requesting a replacement. They said not to return the damaged pan, leaving it up to me to get ride of??The new delivery took a couple of days to arrive and when I opened the box this pan was in a worse shape than the original. Emails and telephone calls were not accepted and as I've already had a 'replacement' the option to return the damaged pan was not there. So, here I am, my dining room now contains two large boxes containing broken pans and two slightly smaller boxes containing the cistern and seats. I am totally at a loss at what I should do. I am left with no alternative but to raise a dispute with Paypal (fortunately I paid through them) and state I want a full refund and for Plumbworld to come and remove these useless bthoxes containing the damaged goods and the cisterns as they're no good to me without the pans. PP has written to Plumbworld and you've guessed it, they haven't respond to them yet. Regardless of the pandemic, these companies, Wickes included, should not operate unless they can provide adequate support for their customers, they're quick enough to take the money.
