Professionally installed Alterra CI1150 wood insert. We are burning seasoned hardwood and am very dissatisfied with the heat output.
There are 2 design flaws that make this unit hard to use to the point of being dangerous. The front secondary air tube falls out. This allows the rightmost top fire brick to also drop down into the firebox. Getting either of them back into place without letting the fire go out is very hazardous.
