Ever since the install ( 2 yrs ago) we have been experiencing horrible smell, coming out of the insert. Every time we put the wood in, the smoke fills the entire house. This is not normal and can potentially cause lots of health issues. We recently heard that this new regency model with catalytic came out with defects and we are not the only ones with this problem.
Regency must replace these defective units asap, before anyone files legal action against the company. Especially since they know about this problem.
