Shadow Foam is basically the real deal. I mistakenly thought that cubed foam was a product that, according to pictures in the product descriptions, could be cut to hold items of a variety of shapes and sizes. Wrong! So I turned to Shadow Foam, watched the numerous videos on YouTube and realised that this was the product for me. I wanted to create a storage unit for walkie-talkie radios, their chargers and charging unit. Watching the instructional video on how to use Shadow Foam made the job really easy, and whilst my efforts are not quite up to Jonathan Shone standards, I am happy with the result of my first go using Shadow Foam. The things I would suggest to get the most from the product are:- 1. Watch the instruction videos. 2. Invest in the Shadow Foam cutting kit. 3. Plan the job and take your time cutting 4. Sit back and admire your work. So use the real deal and do a proper job. PS. The cutting kit I bought had two left-hand gloves...an email to Shadow Foam....and by return, two right-hand gloves arrived; I now have two rather than one pair of cut-resistant gloves, excellent service.
