Online booking was very easy BUT when I got to my hotel at 3am with just me and my 4 year old son they said there was no reservation for us luckily they gave us a room for the night the next day they transferred us to another hotel which was noththing like what I had booked in regards to review standards ,I paid extra for the wyfi and it never worked they would not return my money I was alone in a country with my 4 year old and couldn’t use my phone around hotel very frustrating, they had no drinks that anyone requested the whole time , my air con didn’t work . I could go on the problem was is no one really cared or went out of there way to be helpful there was no point complaining as they didn’t care . I asked the rep just for a late checkout or discount to keep a room as we had to checkout at 12 and we weren’t leaving until 10pm at night and I explained about all the problems and the hotel said NO . I wouldn’t mind if I had booked this hotel as the trip adviser reviews are bad so would of expected the standards given the fact that I looked for a small friendly hotel as it was only me and my son going I looked at lots of hotels in the area on your website and choose the one I booked as the customers reviews where good in regards to staff and kids . I would like some type of explanation or apology/compensation for the whole lack of care and the fact the hotel I booked I didn’t get I got a hotel that I wouldn’t even call a 2 star . Please could someone call me re this or reply .
