Booking with Viatu was a breeze. We used one of the trip templates that was on their website and we customised it to our liking. For the check out we had a few questions. Our travel consultant Alessandro looked after us every step of the way. He even explained everything to me in Spanish which was very helpful as Africa can be complex. We were a bit concerned about the cancellation policies during the Omicron wave - especially since my friend and I arrived in South Africa from two different countries. That, however, was never an issue. The whole booking was flexible including hotels, car rental, safari lodge and our activities. Also, the whole digital travel itinerary turned out to be amazing. We didn't have any issues at all. Alessandro and his team recommended wonderful lodges and restaurants along the way. We had many highlights but we particularly enjoyed the Mosaic Lagoon Lodge in Stanford near Hermanus. The staff was so lovely, the location incredible and the food to die for. The pineapple house in Cape Town, Seapoint was also a wonderful recommendation. The staff is so welcoming. Their design is refreshing and they make a huge effort to be sustainable in all aspects.
