After a wonderful and rather last-minute trip to Cape Town, I decided to book my second Viatu trip to South Africa. This time around we only had one week to start and finish in Johannesburg and explored Kruger National Park. I never expected to see and experience this much in just a week and yet have so much time to wind down and relax! The surprisingly green Blyde River Canyon was beautiful from above and below on the water. On self-drive safaris (with the best tips from the Viatu blog), open vehicle game drives and a life-changing bush walk we got to see 4 out of the big5 (unfortunately no rhino), endangered wild dogs and cheetah! Elephants came to join our dinner at Baluleni Lodge every night and I can't wait to go back for my next wild escape!
