I’m Jill from the UK. I volunteered for one week on the Women’s Empowerment project. The students and staff were friendly and immediately made me feel so welcome. The experience has given me an insight into the lives of the students and an opportunity to get to understand their ideas and values. The accommodation, although basic was clean and comfortable. Deepak, our host was kind, understanding and most importantly a very good cook. Rajiv the company director is extremely supportive. He came to pick me up from my hotel on the first day. He delivered a useful orientation session and introduced me to the key staff in the centre. He also visited on my first full and last day of the project. Overall I had a super experience creating long lasting happy memories. Thanks to all involved!!!
