No stars This one's for Head Office. On the 20th of April my daughter called me whilst at the Walthamstow counter. She said mum what perfume do you want. She was asking because my birthday was 4 days later. I said I want a prada paradoxe intense and she said give her a few choices , as she knows I wear perfume dayly. And she knows I am a great perfume fan. I said OK call me back in 5min, let me log into my ac and see what I've smelt. She called back and I mentioned I also liked Dior frenchie. She proceeded to ask the sales staff whilst I was still on the phone, for above mentioned Dior. She probably went with the Dior has she was awear I had recently purchased the regular paradoxe from this store. The counter staff reply was we don't sell Dior frenchie. I then interrupted and said to my daughter over the phone. Tell her they do as its on the Web site and it's the pink luquid one. She must of took a moment as I could hear her asking my daughter if she would like to smell it. My daughters responce was, I don't need to, as it's for my mother and she knows what she likes. Now my daughter assumes she has been given the correct item. Bids me good by and hangs up. Now this is not a perfume she wares or knows anything about. She was purchasing for me as a gift. I have never purchased a full size bottle. I fell in love with the smell from my Miniature Dior gift set. I wouldn't know what the packaging looked like and my daughter wouldn't know either. Whilst out to dinner on my birthday I received the item, Nicly gift wrapped in a nice dior bag. On opening and spraying, only to find it's the Edp and not the EDT frenchie, which are very different,Instant headache. I knew instantly this was a mistake instore, as I was on the phone whilst the request was being made. This is where I shop my kids and husband shop. I never expected to be given the run around of excuses and shifting of blame for and internal mistake via customer service . They point blank refused to make the situation right under the disguise of internal investagation. Refuse to replace the item with the requested item. All I have had is a barrage of email excuses and blaim shifting. For such a large organisation it's bad very bad. I even emailed the management as was getting nowhere with the customer service team. So far I have had no response from her. If this is the stance of the perfume shop I will shop elsewhere, Walthamstow branch will not be getting a penny more from me. I am an all year round perfume shopper and iam an all year round receiver. I am not desperate I have and wear a vast collection. And will tell everyone around me not to make a purchase for me there. The stance here is make the sale at any cost even if your product knowledge is lacking. And if you get it wrong we won't put it right. Date of experience: 20 April 2024
