I haven't done any measurements but I put these in our Kitchen which is a large open space and when anyone is in the kitchen loading dishwasher, cooking etc there is so much noise It interrupts listening to the TV in the large open Den next to kitchen. It seems to have tamed some of the excess noise and echos. I placed all 6 2x4' pieces on the drop down cabinets In kitchen. I will order 6 more to put in adjacent large open hallway next to den. I am doing acoustic treatment back-assward on purpose. the last thing I will treat is the listening area.
