Received my panels yesterday and installed them today. Have you ever heard the phrase, I wish I had done it sooner? The room this is installed in is small and one speaker is in a corner against the wall. Hardly ideal. Behind the towers I placed 4x4x60 inch bass traps. Immediately the soundstage improved, a lot. Then I installed the wall panels which are 4x2x2 to handle first reflections. Like sonic magic the high frequencies reappeared. I’ve never heard my system sound so good. My towers are R700’s driven by 500 watts per channel so the bass traps are actually used for general absorption. The only way to tame the bass and other issues is by tuning the room with Dirac live but I’ve used it long before having these panels and I can tell you the difference is dramatic. I’m truly impressed and I am hearing things I’ve not heard before in my music and movies, well it’s a day and night difference, to me anyway. YMMV. On a side note I quickly installed the wall panels with sticky Velcro tapes and they look fantastic. These are good enough for wife approval. Quality products.
