This was a life-changing experience with the amazing crew at APL. This is including Boris, Sasha, Amanda, Ross, Ube, the amazing chefs and finally Alberto the Shaman who looked after us every step of the way. We were welcomed on the first day and any anxiety that one had about the next 8 days was swiftly put to bed. I do not want to ruin the experience by detailing the ceremonies, but I will say that it is mind-blowing in a very safe environment. Just live and die by the following 3 words: TRUST RESPECT SURRENDER If like me you were coasting in life with some bad habits (alcohol to name a few) then get this 8-day retreat booked ASAP. I am honestly a new person.
