Our company have used Mail Manager since 2009 and the program has been central to managing our communications. We decided to use MM when we decided to embrace email correspondence as part of our QA system. We researched many systems for QDM (including communications) and realised that whatever system we chose, uncontrolled email correspondence outside any system presented a risk. We also understood that any system that required external users to change their behaviour was unlikely to succeed. MM allowed us to leverage the most common form of communication in completely transparent way. The system is invisible to external users, except that they are always surprised at how quickly and reliably our staff can extract the relevant emails even from projects that finished years ago.
