I found that being directly contacted on the phone was the best option rather than just email quote as this allowed me to instantly ask questions. One of these experiences was exactly this and in the end they were the ones selected for the work. Another seemed quite put out that someone had rung me a full week before them and I advised them that I had already settled on someone so they then wanted to know who and what was their price - which I refused to give. A third did ring but I spoke to a lady who said she couldnt really answer my questions as she was not qualified and was very instant that I arrange for someone to come from Melbourne to meet with me and my husband who she also insisted that I give his name. But must say I extremely happy with who I settled with and their constant help with paperwork and followup.
