I was very aggravated with the process for your services. I went online to your website at 11:56 AM on Sun 21 Aug 2022 and placed an order for delivery and install of a battery. I marked that an appointment was needed ASAP, and in the notes, I explained that I was waiting in a mall parking lot for assistance. 12:16 PM, I received an email providing the details of my order and that the ETA was 2-hours, 2-min. I noted that nowhere in the email did it state that an appointment was “not” made or that a technician would not be able to provide the services I prepaid for online. After waiting 2-hours with no updated email, text, or status, I chatted with an agent to try and obtain a status for my order. The agent explained that my order was assigned to a technician, but the technician was not answering his phone, the agent would try and get someone out to me, but unfortunately could not provide a for sure ETA. The agent explained that I should receive a status update when the technician has the battery and is on his way. The agent also stated that Sundays are the days that some technicians take off from work, so there was no way of knowing what technician was available to meet me. The agent and I agreed that Monday (22 Aug) would be best to meet a technician. Additionally, the agent stated that I would receive a text on Monday in plenty of time and that these requests are typically completed around 9 AM the following day. The agent ended the chat by explaining that I would have plenty of time to meet the technician at the mall once I receive my first notification. However, on Monday morning at 8:00 AM, I received a text that the technician was on his way and was 10-min from the stalled vehicle’s location. I live in North Raleigh 35-min away from the mall and was inconvenienced again to ensure I could get someone over there in time to meet the technician. On a good note, the technician replaced the battery with little difficulty and was there when the text message said he would be. But the 2-hour wait the previous day without getting what I paid for, lack of notifications received to keep me updated on what was going on with my request, the fact that no details were provided at the time of ordering to inform me my order could “not” be fulfilled on Sunday, and that the agent was not able to contact the assigned technician on Sunday to determine a timeline, all contributed to a negative experience.

The online order was pretty good. The same-day delivery is also fast (earlier few hours than the scheduled time), impressive. Till now: 5 - stars Rest of the part: 1 -star But, the installation person is in so hurry to get the job done and doesn't have knowledge of fitting the battery properly. I helped him to put the things right while assembling the battery and fitting it. In his hurry, dropped the bolt in the engine cabinet and spend additional time finding them again and getting them back. he needed to open/close a few other parts to get the dropped bolts back (some mess up), but finally okay.

Appointment time was between 8-10am, no one called to confirm this appointment. The technician arrived at 10:15am. Once he arrived, he was not familiar with the make of the vehicle, or where the battery was. Once he started working, he didn't seem to have the correct tools.

The installer did a good job overall. However, I did not receive a written warrenty in which the installer stated that I should receive it by email. As of today, I have not received it.

The serviceman was wonderful it is just the company does not have enough workers and the wait was over 5 hours. Fortunately, it was not an emergency for me but I would not be happy if time was of the essence.

My technician was great and on time. I thought I was purchasing a gold Die Hard battery but received an FPV Battery.

I experienced a error in scheduling -On the site I booked for a set time on Saturday at 10 am. -Yet somehow the company registered it as an "ASAP" order. So someone came on Friday night when I was not home. So this caused extra work and confusion in messaging to reschedule. Ultimately the issue was resolved and the technician successfully installed the battery, but the mis-scheduling was frustrating.

In the end my truck is running and the battery is swapped. However, there was a lot of stress involved as my vehicle is pricey ($80,000) and has a lot of electronics. The technician (while a very nice albeit introverted guy) admitted he had never changed the battery in my model/vehicle before and mentioned perhaps needing to watch a YouTube video of how to perform the swap? Red alert. He also unfortunately showed up with the wrong battery which he only realized AFTER taking everything apart. I regretted my decision to not just go to my dealer for the service immediately. In the end after going back to the auto parts store for the correct battery, he did manage to figure it out and all is well - my battery is swapped and everything seems to work. But i will probably just go to my dealer in the future. The customer service folks were as helpful as they could be.

We don't have a smart phone , so the text the technician sent to us was not received. After several delays and phone calls we finally got our battery . All's good that ends good. Thanks

The representative that I spoke to and placed the order with told me he would send a 900amp hour battery, but it was a 760. He said he had two available to fit my car, and that he would send the larger capacity one. The installer, when he arrived, had no idea about this. Also, the invoice says nothing about what battery was installed, nor anything about a warranty. The installer told me I had a 3 year warranty, but there was nothing in writing about it. I paid about $100 more for them coming out to install it, and I was willing to do that, but I think everybody needs to be on the same page, and that when someone says you are going to receive x, you should receive x. But what came was a DieHard Platinum, which is a good battery. Yet it does not say on the invoice anywhere what kind of battery was used. The installer was very good. He knew what he was doing, and had the proper test equipment on hand. That part of it I am happy with. The rest of the transaction, not so happy.

Battery guy arrived on time and changed the battery as expected, but the new battery wasn't charged and had to be jumped several times to get a charge going.

The technician was very efficient and completed the work very quickly. However, the initial order noted a 2-hour lead time for the technician to arrive - the actual arrival time was about 5 hours later.

I tried to call customer service with questions about their process and was on hold FOREVER! I did a chat and text and no response until the next day AFTER I made the purchase online. The Tech arrived 30 mins. after my scheduled appt. and apologized due to a schedule conflict with me and another customer. He installed the battery, made sure everything was working fine within 30 mins. Read my detailed review on Google for a real look at the entire process.

I called around 7pm on Wednesday and was on hold for 30 mins. I hung up and did a chat and no one responded. Called again on hold 15 mins decided to use the text option while still on hold and no response. I was browsing the site trying to find answers to questions I had about the purchase process, warranty, battery sizes etc. all while STILL on hold. After 45mins. I decided to take a chance, make the purchase and set an installment appointment for the next day. I made it for 9-11am and patiently waited. Thankfully I was at home and not stranded. Thursday morning received a text from them apologizing and asking if I still needed info. I said no, made the battery purchase and waiting for the Tech. I was then told the Tech wouldn't arrive until an hour after my appointment. I asked why did I make an appointment if he wasn't going to be on time? I was told delays happen and that's why a window is given (even though it's past my window). I said I would have appreciated some type of notification beforehand; no response back. Nonetheless, at the least I was able to track the Tech's location. I'm thinking I've already paid for the battery and can't reach customer service? Is this a scam? Thankfully the Tech showed up around 11:30 and apologized for the confusion. He had another appointment scheduled for the same time as mine but didn't see mine until 10. He contacted the office to let them know and that's why I received the text from them. As for the battery replacement, he did a great job. The install probably took 30 mins max. Eric B. walked me through the process and even had equipment to connect to my car to keep from losing my data. That was a major concern for me because I thought I would need the dealership to reprogram. He checked the battery voltage and the alternator reading making sure everything was working fine. Overall I was pleased with the process. I found them by doing a search for a battery and thought is this for real? You can order a battery online, schedule delivery and they can install all for one price? I didn't appreciate not being able to connect with customer service the day I needed them. They are based out of California so there is a 3 hour time difference but that was unacceptable for me. I gave 3 stars for communication but I have to give 5 for the ease of ordering, delivery and install. Thanks again Eric!

The technician who came out to replace my battery was very professional. He did great. My negative experience was not his fault. However, the customer service department needs some work. I scheduled my installation that morning online for same-day that afternoon from 1-3pm. I contacted customer service at 130pm via chat to inquire when the tech will be there, and the agent said between 2-3pm. I then get a voicemail at 2:30pm stating the tech is out of town and needs to reschedule for tomorrow morning. Huh??? I had no choice but to accept, so I called back to reschedule and also complain, and the agent hung up on me. I should have been contacted much earlier in the day to be notified a tech was out of town. Terrible customer service. I could have just gone down to Auto-zone myself and bought a battery, and had them install it on sight in less time - and money. I paid your ridiculous overpriced fee for the convenience and speed - and your company did not deliver.

The best part of this service is that I have been able to get someone to come to Me with a new battery same day. However, their toll free number is never in working order so it’s hard to get ahold of anyone. Use the chat feature.
