“After being told they had the ability to program the new battery to my Jeep, they showed up and then told me they didn't have the OBD II device required (not the techs fault). So he left. I then called and requested a refund and was told I would get a refund confirmation in a few minutes but never received it. I then called two days later and they had no record of the refund, but said they would process it less battery testing and battery jumping fees....which they never performed and I told them so. Promised they would send me a refund email which 2 days later I still haven't received. Had to finally reverse the charges on my credit card. This is not an ethical business. I would advise you avoid them at all costs.”
“In Orlando, FL. I used this service for a dead car battery. The car starter wouldn't turn, the battery was three years old, had corrosion coming out of both posts, so I knew it was dead. I made an appointment online. I chose a battery from many options offered after I put in my car's info. They asked for address, phone, and email. They gave me a price for delivery and install. I paid and got confirmation instantly. By text and email (It was a Friday evening when I made the appointment for Saturday morning). I received a text and email on Saturday morning when the tech was on the way with the car battery (about 1 and 1/2 before my reserved time window). The tech arrived 30 minutes before the reserved time window but I was able to track him with the link in the text so when I walked out to my car he was just approaching my place. Took him about 10 minutes to swap out the battery out of my car. Very fast and clean. Great service!”
“Awful experience and they never gave me a battery and took my money anyway. Initially everything was fine. Service seemed like it would go quick but after waiting 2 hours over the scheduled appointment time and with no word from them, I called and was told the technician wouldn’t be able to make it until the next day. That was fine. The next day rolls around and they tell me I owe them $130 extra for the battery bc I purchased the wrong type for my car initially (I used their system to determine which battery I needed before purchase so idk how that was my fault but ok.) I paid and then after waiting the whole day again they tell me the technician will not come again. Then I was told that they were going to cancel my service (they didn’t try to reschedule they just decided I didn’t need assistance anymore) They said they couldn’t help me and that they would refund me. They refunded the first portion but never gave me back my $130. I’ve contact customer service but they’ve only said they’ll look into it and I haven’t heard from them since despite multiple emails. 100% a scam. They shouldn’t be allowed to run a business. I’m working with my bank to try to resolve this issue now.”
“The technician who came to test my battery to determine if it was bad was incredibly rude. He would not listen to anything I said and his “test” of the battery was to open the hood and look at it. He didn’t use any equipment that would give him a reading of the battery. He then told me to call customer care and left. I then called customer care who told me they would send someone else out later that night. No one ever came. Now I still have a bad battery and I’m out even more money since I had to pay the fee for the tech to come look at the battery. I feel like I’ve been scammed.”
“I had made a purchase on June 26, which I canceled it soon after, as my neighbor said he would take care of my problem. I have called 3 times, and keep getting the "it will take 7 to 10 days to get my refund" each phone call. I paid over 300.00, and it seems as though they are keeping my money. Will have to hire an attorney to recoup my money.”
