“More than three hours spent in trying to access tickets. Never again. Called the Wintrust area who tried to help, but I went in a loop. I called Ticketmaster, again put in a loop. Finally a friend said she would help. Two hours later we had the ticket. Honestly, that is absurb.”
“Don’t trust this company, I tried their escalated complaint process and was guaranteed my issue would be resolved within an hour or I would get tickets of equal value. Crickets is what I got, now they say too bad too sad.”
“Stubhub talks about their guarantee system, but it doesn’t work all the time. I purchased parking for. Janet Jackson concert. When I got to the parking site there was no attendant a sign saying cars would be towed. The next day I tried contacting the Stubhub site but it kept failing. I ended up trying to dispute with my credit card. That failed, so I chatted with customer service, telling them about the encounter. They said they couldn’t help me. And Enmanual specifically said there was no one in leadership to talk about the guarantee policy.
So beware! With all the other ticketing agencies available, you might consider other options.”
“Baught tickets to a Jelly Roll concert. Got thier tickets were double sold. Were not allowed in. Did get a full refund but thier were no tickets except nose bleeders. Going from the 5th row back from the stage to upper mezzanine back row ya not a trade. Waisted 2 hrs on driving, gas for the trip, and 80 bucks on parking, 2 hrs in line. But got my money back for the tickets. This was an anniversary present up in smoke.”

“I bought tickets to USOPEN and missed receiving tickets but caught the mistake weeks ahead of event. Called them over and over again and they told me repeatedly the tickets would be sent and my problem resolved. The supervisor was awful and refused to honor the promises the agents had given me regarding correcting the problem. Worst sales experience of my adult life.”
“I used the platform to buy tickets for a baseball game! Since I went to the wrong city, I put the tickets back on sale! Not only was it complicated because both the app and the website were constantly bugging, the system kept bringing me back as if I had to re-enter the information! Finally! I created the same ad 7 times! I called support to have the duplicate ads removed! First of all, it is difficult to chat with a human member of their support, but also between two lines they take 2 to 3 minutes to respond! They ask for the same information as if they did not read what you write to them! In the end! They cannot delete duplicate ads on their own platform! In addition, they tell me that they will charge me the price of the tickets to deliver the tickets to buyers who bought tickets for the same seats at the same game 7 times! Bravo to the team! You are professionals!”
“I ordered tickets at 4 pm for a 7 pm event. When I went into the event, they told me the tickets were for noon and I couldn't get in. I had to text customer support and chat with 2 different associates (one was disconnected) and was told I would be reimbursed. They gave me a $70 voucher (that I won't use) and told me that is all they can do. When I looked at my credit card statement, they put another bill of $240.44 for something else. I will never use them again.”
“UNBELIEVABLE racket. First time user, tried to resell tickets purchased through StubHub. Was given misinformation about posting, and sales were not visible to buyers. $695 tickets of course did not sell. Can't buy what you can't see. Called, complained, after hours (5-6 hours total) of being put on hold, was pleasantly surprised that I got a credit! A month later, magically, my account got hacked and the credit was used to purchase Miami Heat (who?!?!) tickets. Called and let them know, after many additional hours, was told it was confirmed to be hacked, advised to set up a new account to transfer credit to new account. After many more calls, and many more promises, never actually saw that credit. I suspect the hacking was in internal job. What a scam.
On the upside, everyone I spoke with was so polite and with such lovely accents. Too bad it was just a well-spoken rip-off.”
“I purchased tickets for Hamilton and bought all of my tickets together (7 tickets for our group) almost 2 months in advance and then I receive an email literally a day and a half before the show telling me “the seller is having a hard time providing the tickets but they are offering an alternative and a credit of $200”
Well the tickets I purchased were dead center and just a few rows from the stage. Now we get to spend almost the same amount of money to be pushed off to the side and in the back rows. I have to choose between a full refund a day and a half before the show or disappoint 6 young teenagers and not go at all. This is incredibly shady. Never again will I order from StubHub.”

“I purchased two "great" tickets ($122 ea plus $95 'convenience fee' $345 total) for Chicago / Earth, Wind & Fire concert at Ameris Amphitheater in Alpharetta, Georgia. The link they sent me went to Ticketmaster, where it said there was no such order. After two online chats with their agents and one phone call over a period of 3 days, all I got was BS that I was guaranteed to receive my tickets before the concert. Biting my nails till four hours before the concert, I was told my tickets were not available, BUT I could receive "lawn" tickets and receive $4 back. I opted for the refund and finally received it. What a SCAM! They buy probably 20 good tickets and 200 cheap tickets to bait-and-switch at the last minute. Only 20 lucky people will actually get good tickets so that they "appear" to be honest. NEVER BUY FROM STUBHUB. I'm just glad I didn't incur travel and/or lodging expenses only to be ripped off for the tickets.”
“Purchased tickets on Stubhub for $680.27 to Morgan Wallen/Jellyroll concert here in Tampa originally set for 07/12/2024. Link was sent and when I clicked to accept, tickets would not transfer. Concert cancelled and reset for 10/04/2024. Customer service tried to resend link to me on more than 1 occasion and link never worked. So, I have paid $680.27 and never received tickets. Customer service has told me several times that by 10/04/2024, they would either get me sellers tickets (or comparable seats) or issue refund. I asked for refund since goods I paid for have never been provided. Stubhub will not refund which I believe is in violation of consumer protection acts and and unfair and deceptive trade practice. I believe refund will allow me to ensure I get tickets to show and not be held hostage until day of show. Will never purchase tickets from Stubhub again.”
“Stub Hub is absolutely the WORST company I have ever dealt with. I am writing the Md Attorney general about it. I bought tickets in row P for my grandchildren to see Mamma Mia. After holding on the phone for 45 minutes with them on the day of the show, on the way to the venue, they told me the seller never had the tickets I bought but that he was offering row T, five rows further back. They told me I had better take them. I took them. After holding on the phone for another hour, they told me that he didn't have those tickets either. Horrible horrible experience - completely fraudulent.”
“My account was hacked and someone bought a ticket using my gift card balance. 6 weeks have gone by and still no refund. I have made 20 calls with no result. DO NOT USE STUBHUB. They have no customer service. I may call the attorney general of Ohio and report them. They are the worst ticket scam out there.”
