“This was the worst experience of my life, ive never ordered in advance and
I was so excited for the lion king, 1600$ later. Unforseen circumstances happen, and they could not help us at or give us our money back or even a rain check!!! Absolutely terrible!!!!
Never would i deal with these people again!!!!”
“TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE - DON'T USE STUBHUB!! June 4th I purchased tickets for an August 6th event. I went to the venue website to purchase the tickets. Once the transaction was completed, I received multiple emails from Ticketmaster, StubHub and Live Nation. The Ticketmaster email said I would be notified when the tickets were available for me to “claim” I was concerned about the several messages that kept coming from all three sources and also that it was possibly a scam. I called Ticketmaster and was referred to StubHub. They assured me that it was a legitimate transaction. They further explained that it was a resale -which I did not know at the time of the purchase – and sometimes the tickets are not released right away because of scalping or whatever. She said to check back in a few days. I hadn’t received an email by June 14th, so I called again. She asked me to send a screen shot of the messages I was receiving to prove I had accessed the sight properly, which I forwarded. After our call, she sent an email explaining the StubHub guarantee. She assured me this was typical with resale transactions and said I would have the tickets no later than the date of the event.
Receiving no further emails I started checking again August 5th, the day before the event. I called StubHub again and was placed on hold and assured they were going to resolve it that day. I was told repeatedly that the internal solutions team was working to resolve my issue and that they had escalated my case. I called two more times on the 5th of August. No follow up email or call from StubHub.
August 6th – day of event – I called StubHub again at 8:55 am. The representative (Angel) repeated precisely what I had been told on the 5th. I was on hold for 31 minutes and then disconnected. I called back at 9:28 am and was on the phone with another representative (Karim) who repeated the script again and asked me to send more screen shots of my attempts to access the tickets. He sent some troubleshooting procedures, which I did. He then assured me it would be resolved that day and I would hear back. No call back by 12:57 pm so I called again. The call lasted 20 minutes this time, same outcome no results. But this rep said he could release replacement tickets one hour before the performance if I still did not have the ones I purchased. He further said there were at least 40 seats in the same location on the seating chart, so it would not be a problem. These two tickets cost more than $500.
At 5:36 pm, I called again as we sat in the parking lot of the venue. This representative (Hannah) said she would work on it right away. She asked me AGAIN to send screen shots of my attempts to login in to Ticketmaster, StubHub and Live Nation. I did all that. She kept placing me on hold for 5-10 minutes at a time, but offered no information other than the internal solutions team was working on it. In the meantime, my husband went to the sight and saw numerous tickets available, but they were being snatched up pretty quickly. We could have replaced these tickets for 2/3 the cost, so I know StubHub could have made me whole before the concert, but they did not.
We drove 5 hours each way for the concert and had an expense of over $250. for overnight accommodations for this concert.”
“We bought tickets well in advance of the Outlaw concert. The day of, still did not receive the tickets. Stubhub claiming that the venue had not yet released them even thought the the opening acts had been going on for at least 2 hours. We called and got a chatbot etc. Wasted about an hour before giving up and buying new tickets at Ticketmaster. DO NOT USE STUBHUB IF YOU WANT TO GO TO A SHOW!!! COMPLETE SCAMMERS!!!”
“Getting a refund for a $61 parking pass that I could not use because it was closed for renovation was impossible. I had to pay an additional $40 to park the car in the regular lot. Called to get the refund but they keep on hanging up on me as soon as they hear about getting a refund. Not recommended at all.”
“I sold my tickets and transferred them as I was suppose too and now the night of the concert I’m told the tickets weren’t transferred. The buyer was having problems with the transfer, so I contacted customer service and chatted with someone who told me that it was all set and I could rest assured I did everything right on my end. I woke up today the day after the concert to a 336 dollar charge. I’m a single mom and this is taking from my bills now all because I was assured my end was taken care of. If I had known I had to take more action I would have done so. After today, I will never be using stub hub again. I have purchased numerous concerts, and transferred some before without an issue. I also have to wait 30-45 days to get an answer from them.”
“My mother in law bought tickets for an event over 7 months ago, today is the day of the event and now all of a sudden the tickets are gone. Customer service has done absolutely nothing to help her & also lied to her face saying that they PROMISE to give her new tickets that are equal or better value. She is now crying because she is now out $700 along with travel and hotel fees & missing her favorite band. Absolutely HORRIBLE on their end and I hope they retrain every associate that is hired due to this.”
“Didn't receive tickets. Got a refund. But ONLY after we reached out. Clearly they had no intentions of upholding their end of the bargain. Pretty simple commerce and it's their entire purpose but failed to fulfill that. One star is only fair.”
“I had 3 tickets in the cart. Pressed buy. Sent me 1 ticket. Only charged for one but definitely a glitch in their system. They won't refund or any other accommodations. Customer service rep was not helpful. Garbage company.”
“I purchased tickets to take my daughter to a Enhypen concert in New York. The tickets said they were ready but I could not download them to use, I called customer service at least 20 times and was told there was nothing they could do and that I can complain if I want to too but there is nothing further they build do. They had no problem taking my money but couldn't help me with my tickets. I ended up having to buy tickets from a different company. Please what ever you do do not ever use StubHub.”
“Decided at the last minute to try to see a show my family was going. Found a ticket on Stubhub in the row in front of them. Bought it while we where having dinner and had it by the time we got across the city to the venue. Thank you! Oh, plus I paid half what they did since it was so last minute”
“Absolutely everything is wrong with stubhub. Never received my tickets & I’ve been calling every other week trying to get my refund. It’s been almost 2 months and I’m still getting the run around. I would not recommend buying tickets on this platform unless you want to lose your money. Money back guarantee my butt.”
“Horrible horrible I bought tickets a week in advance for 161$
Then I was told it would be delivered 3 hours before concert for what ever reason . Then 3 hours before nothing
2hours nothing then Iim told I would be refunded but miss the concert. Had to rebuy 500$ last minute tickets and all the stress along with. Horrible experience horrible horrible. Never use stub hub any other service would be better. I bout my tickets on vivid delivered in minutes.
Stubhack is the worst ever! Booooooooooooooll”
“There was an issue with the tickets, not being released by the party we bought them from on the day of the concert. A quick online chat with a customer service rep, landed us better seats in 5 minutes or the option for a refund. We took the seats and enjoyed the concert.”
“We are attending a Vince Gill concert at Ryman Auditorium in Nashville TN. Stub hub assigned a parking lot that was further away when there were 3 parking garages listed as closer to the venue. Since it is within a mile of the venue, stub hub wouldn't refund the parking price. We tried to resell the parking space but the lot wasn't even listed as an option to resell. I would recommend not purchasing the parking in conjunction with the concert tickets. I plan not to ever in the future and plan on disputing that credit card charge as we will not be using it and plan to Uber for cheaper.”
“They sent me an email apologizing for something going wrong with my order but when I checked the app, I didn't notice anything wrong. After contacting customer service, apparently there was a substitution after the initial seller of the tickets couldn't fulfill the order. I would have preferred they keep behind the scenes issues behind the scenes instead of freaking me the f out. Also, once the tickets were made available they sent me a link that went to a Ticketmaster website but there there no way to transfer the tickets to my Apple wallet. Thank god I had cell coverage at the venue because without it I'd have been screwed. While I did get the tickets I paid for and was able to get into the show ok, the whole experience with the uncertainty of whether I'd even get real tickets and get into the show left a sour taste in my mouth regarding this whole third party ticket thing. I know they say they will refund the money if the seller doesn't come through but that doesn't help when I spent thousands on air-fare and hotel to travel to a far away destination for the concert.”
