StubHub is running a major scam and I hope they are being investigated. They “guarantee” your ticket purchase to get you to buy, but then do NOT fulfill their promises.”
“I ordered 3 ball tickets from stubhub. When we got to the ballpark and got to our seats apparently one seat was not legitimate. We had to walk a lot more than my husband was able too to get seats replaced at customer service. Stub hub refused to even return my money for one ticket for the inconvenience we had at the game. All they would offer is a 25 percent off future purchase! I will never purchase anything from them again.”
“For the first time ever, I bought my soccer tickets from them, $50 worth ticket for $450. I am ok with the price. However, after waiting 2 months just couple of weeks before the event, they sent me email that my the tickets are not available anymore!
Meanwhile they confirmed my order etc. etc. and not to mention had my money, couple of thousands in total for two months and I had to pay the credit card interest along the way!
I called customer service they kept repeating the same garbage over and over... blaming the ticket seller/event organizer. NO apologies whatsoever!
This is in United States of America, not any third world country, well unless we intend to head towards that direction!
There are so many issues with airliners, ticket sellers... the list goes on and on but our leaders do not want to do anything about these crooks. They are too busy winning elections!”
“Im a verified and more than a decade old customer. In the recent years, Stubhub and Ticketmaster have formed a nexus along with the event organizers to rob ticket buyers off their money.They think customers are too dumb to catch on to their sneaky and sleezy business tactics.They hide it uummm....under a price gauging cover blow. Bought tickets to the current Metallica NJ shows and cant make it. They refuse a refund. Tickets are from ticket master.kept dodging my call by tossing it to each other. Stubhub agent gave me a run around for an hour when I requested a refund. Excuse after another and another lame excuse just to grab on to the amount I paid. Lost thousands!!!!”
“I had concert tickets that I listed. The day of the concert my listing disappeared. I thought they were sold. Never received any email confirming the sale. When I checked my listing it showed as deactivated. I tried to reactivate it but couldn’t. Tried to repost the tickets and was told they were already listed. I originally purchased the tickets through Stubhub and the concert was cancelled and rescheduled to a date I couldn’t attend. I lost over $650.00 dollars due to the rescheduling and not being able to sell my tickets when my tickets were the lowest price available at the time. No way to contact customer support. Will never use Stubhub again.”
“I wish I could give this a negative 100%. What a HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE company and worst experience of my life with them. I will NEVER purchase from them again. I bought concert tickets for $900 back in 2019 for a concert that didn’t happen until this August due to the Rona Called them asking if I could switch venues as we don’t live in the same state any longer where the concert was and they said no. I had been calling them for a year regarding this and in the last month the tickets had sold but I was not notified on my stubhub account. Therefore, they tried to charge me again for the tickets because I didn’t sell them to the individuals that wanted them. Thank goodness for American Express because they fought them on the last charge. What crooks they are. Horrible experience”
“SELLERS & BUYERS BEWARE Stub Hub sold my parking passes 3 days prior to this notice.. Past procedure they provided an UPS label and I would take the item to UPS drop off, it worked well, never a problem! Now they want the buyers to print out passes which is not accepted at Hard Rock Stadium and buyer would be denied access to venue, per my Hard Rock Stadium account rep. I told them this on the very day the passes sold and now they are charging me $49.00 cancellation fee. This is more than me being charged for their failing to deliver an original acceptable parking pass, its also for an unsuspecting football fan that would be denied entry to the stadium on game day. They do not care about their customers.”
“Sad Company….uses I am sorry every other word. We tried to sell our tickets that we previously bought on Stubhub. We can’t go to the game as I need emergency surgery. We posted the tickets then wondered why they weren’t selling, Stubhub’s site was broken. We found this out after calling in and was transferred every which way, back and forth. Asked for a supervisor which in turn answered then hung up on us. Don’t use these guys.”
“Why can't we put 0 stars? Ugh one star will do. Horrible company. Hung up on me when I called asking for a refund. When covid happened they took everyone's money and ran. Stay far away from them. I don't "qualify" for a refund because my concert still says postponed. It has said that for over a year... It sounds like I won't even get a refund if it does get cancelled. They changed their policy completely from refund to stubhub credit.”
“Apparently StubHub confuses “canceled” with “postponed” for their benefit... I am out $600 dollars and join thousands of others with this lie. I will never use this service again and hope they go under due to the number of lawsuits.”
“Absolutely awful company - please do not use them. I sold tickets through them for which they took £70. Since the event ended over 3 weeks ago the money for the tickets should have been in my account in 5-8 days according to their own stated standards. I've emailed. No reply. I've telephoned and been told it is waiting proof of ID. They wouldn't tell me what proof they needed. They wouldn't put me through to the payments team. They promised to call me back with update in 24 hours. They didn't. I rang again. Told absolutely nothing I could do I just have to wait. Couldn't tell me how long. Couldn't tell me what for. They have been sitting with MY money in THEIR bank account earning them interest and every day goes by earns them more. Absolute charlatans. Do not touch. I will never use them again cannot be trusted to keep to their own promises. The best bit is. Get this. The only contact I've had from them since I started to complain was an emailed survey form asking me to tell them How They Did!! Oh. The Irony.”
“Bought tickets on Stubhub. Electronically they assigned me one set of tickets then mailed me a hard copy of another set. How do I know either Will be valid. Someone else has the electronica copy to the hardcopy tickets I was assigned. They could’ve sold them already. Stubhub says there’s nothing they can do but refund me. I don’t want a refund I want tickets that will be valid. The event I’m going to is in Phoenix so I have bought a flight and paid for lodging. I live in Colorado Springs Colorado. I’ll be out of luck if these tickets are not good when I get there.”
“I've sold a ticket on October. I still haven't received any money. I wrote them multiple times but all they are doing is to make me wait. I feel scammed. They own me around 210£.

“Hi,
I have made an order for India vs Pakistan tickets on 29th May and I got a confirmation that I shall get my tickets on 2nd June.I just called up stubhub randomly on 1st June and was told by Jennefer that Stubhub is still unable to contact the seller. I was quite surprised with this answer. After continous chaser, Steve – another customer care executive called us on 2nd June and told us that he has somehow managed to get hold of seller’s wife and they will ship the tickets to us. Again after so much chasing, another customer care executive told me that they are still trying to reach the seller. On 3rd evening, I received a call from Hall saying that he has managed to secure 3 tickets for us and will get it to our home.
We have been continously cheated and fooled by giving different information from the same company. Customer care executives were so rude as if they are doing a big favor on us by talking to us. We have even booked our train tickets and hotel accommodation. All the money has gone into drain only because of stub. It’s fine if you guys were unable to get tickets but please stop giving wrong information to the customers and please stop fooling us and please stop playing around with our hard earn money.”
