Travel. Hotel. Took 3 days of trying to produce tickets and couldn’t!
Reimbursement for tickets but nothing for travel and hotel.

“They sell tickets for events. When events are postponed then they want you to sell the tickets. I purchased 1245.00 for tickets to peace out tour in Cincinnati Ohio for 01-04-2024. I can't attend another date. And also they don't even have another date. It's 12 -08-2023. I will never buy another thing from this company. I recommend that you don't either. I don't see how it is legal to even do what they are doing to people. Very stressful to deal with this company except for when they take your money.”
“Back in July I bought 2 tickets to see U2 at the Sphere in Vegas on Dec 2nd for $800 each from StubHub. They were great seats and I was so excited. I got an email confirmation from them saying my purchase was confirmed and my StubHub dashboard said "Event Status Confirmed" in big green font. They "guaranteed" I would have the tickets by Dec 2. So we boarded our dog, booked our flights to Vegas and got a hotel which together cost well over $1,000. The tickets never arrived. I called StubHub an hour before showtime and they said well too bad we don't have those tickets anymore. They tried to get me to accept TERRIBLE seats for the same price! Talk about bait and switch! When I checked online earlier that day I saw similar seats to the ones I bought in July were selling for 3x what I paid. I'm convinced they resold them for a higher price or they let the seller resell them for a higher price so they could get a higher fee. And when I complained all they did is point to their User Agreement that basically says they can do whatever they want and owe you nothing but what you originally paid. So if they can make more money they will and just say screw you when you call to complain. There is NO GUARANTEE THEY WILL GIVE YOU THE TICKETS YOU PURCHASED FROM THEM. Do not use StubHub! They are crooks and they will hang you out to dry and leave you standing outside the Sphere with no tickets if they can make a few extra bucks. Shameful!”

“I was promised to get my tickets prior a football game and haven’t received them. I traveled to another country and paid for accommodation, waited in a 3 hour line in order to get to that game. As I arrived at the Stadium counter, I was informed that I don’t have tickets on my app account. Because of their bad costumer service, three people waisted money for nothing! Their guarantee doesn’t mean anything! I’m asking for a compensation for this but I’m sure those scammers won’t even answer me now.”
“I ordered 4 tickets to the Drake concert and had great seats for my budget. I received the tickets and accepted them from a 3rd party person and they were for the Wrong date. My receipt had the correct date and they ran my credit card immediately. This all happened on a Monday. I called customer support 5 times between Monday and Saturday. Nobody responded or did there job until I asked to speak with a supervisor. I had to return my good seats for the wrong date and they were supposed to give me a link for correct date tickets. Well 4 days went by without a message or call from stubhub and so I again called on a Saturday. They Finally found my order and sent the link for new tickets.. Guess what there was no more tickets left for the concert because stubhub took to long to get back to me. The only thing they could do was give me a refund for my purchase, while I lost my seats. It was not even my fault it was stubhubs fault for issuing the wrong dated tickets. They did not help me find tickets for the correct date and they made me feel like it was my fault. So I ended up purchasing crapy seats for more money. They did give me a voucher for a percentage off. But that didn't even help. I paid more money with the percentage off and got horrible seats. I do not recommend Stub hub for ticket buying. The customer service is absolutely horrible. They seemed like they had no idea of what they were doing. Because of the Service I received I lost good seats and the pricing for the concert. Please check tickets from stub hub. There fan guarantee is bullcrap and worthless. Plus you can't understand anyone at stub hub and they don't understand what you are asking. I am so so upset about the situation.”
“Unfortunately StubHub failed miserably to get me my ticket in time. I missed a concert after waiting for months to attend . I made plane and hotel reservations based on their original email to me. A short time later another email pretty much with correct the time frame I didn't want a refund, I wanted to see this concert. Of course, any tix available through them were now double the price, so u are left out in the cold. They are also giving me a small voucher for future events, yah, I wouldn't use them again for free. Caveat Emptor. Let the buyer beware. I would have given them a minus star, not available. Shame on them!!!”
“They charged my credit card $500., they called it a penalty for being unable to transfer tickets due to a third parties glitch. All of this took place within the first hour of the purchase, so the buyer was not inconvenienced. They confirmed it was not my fault, but charged me anyway. After 6 weeks, 20+ phone calls and countless emails, I gave up trying to get it back.”
“Never again. Bought tickets 6 months ago. Day before concert I didn’t receive. Call they reached out to the seller and said by the end of day I’ll have them. Next morning called StubHub. Said should have by 10am. Chatted after 10. Said within two hours. Well two hours past and after 3 chats that lost connection they said couldn’t get me ticket replacement because I bought 4 and they were only available in sets of 1,2 or 3. Really StubHub? This is the second time I’ve had problems. I’m done with StubHub. 4 flights, rental car and hotel. They move the goal post till the last minute where the only option is a refund. Never again”

“I recently had a frustrating experience with the StubHub app that I'd like to share. I listed two tickets for sale on the platform, and what followed was a chain of events that left me quite displeased.
First, I never received any notification that my tickets had been sold on the app. Instead, my listing was abruptly labeled as "cancelled" or "expired." This led me to believe that my tickets were still available for sale, so I relisted them.
To my surprise, I later received an email notifying me that the tickets had indeed sold, and I promptly sent them to the buyer. However, the lack of communication from StubHub left me in the dark about the status of my initial listing.
The real issue arose when StubHub placed 100% responsibility on me for the ticket sale on both listings. It's essential to note that I couldn't have fulfilled the second listing since I had only one pair of tickets available. StubHub's explanation for this situation was a glaring loophole in their system: they claimed they have no mechanisms in place to prevent duplicate ticket listings, citing the optional seat assignment as a primary reason.
The glaring question that arises from this is: why would anyone purchase tickets without knowing the seat numbers? It's indeed perplexing that a ticket agency/exchange of StubHub's stature would allow such a situation to occur, where duplicate and fraudulent ticket sales become possible.
My main grievance is that StubHub and their app lack the necessary safeguards to prevent this kind of activity or duplicate sales, ultimately holding sellers accountable for issues that are beyond their control. To make matters worse, they impose a 100% penalty on the full ticket listing price, which is both frustrating and unfair.
In conclusion, my experience with the StubHub app highlighted serious deficiencies in their system and customer support, leading to a stressful and financially burdensome situation for sellers. It's high time for StubHub to address these issues and put measures in place to protect both buyers and sellers from such mishaps in the future.”
“Me and 2 of my friends purchased tickets for the beyonce concert in New Orleans on September the 27 for my birthday. Paid over 400$ in fees. We flew to New Orleans from St. Petersburg Florida. 15 minutes before the show starts I received a email advising our transactions was cancelled. We call stub hub over 20 times everyone we talked to was extremely rude, unprofessional, uneducated on how it works and they all provided different information even the supervisor Pamela employee Id number 2591114. Who no told me she the highest person I can speak with in regards to this. I was on the phone with her for over an hour and she did nothing to try and help us. She would not allow us to buy tickets over the phone or even try to help us locate a ticket. We reprocessed the order 4 more times on 4 different cards online and they were all cancelled. We couldn't even buy tickets from another vendor at this point because they were holding the money. No one was able to tell us why this was happening or try to help us find new tickets. this is the worst experience I’ve ever had with any company I’ve ever done business with. I am even more hurt that the company is getting away with type of behavior. I’ve taken time off work, paid for a flight, booked a hotel, rented a car all in vein because StubHub was selling tickets they never had, this ruined my 30th birthday and what put the icing on the cake was the costumer service I received, the I don’t care attitude and lack of empathy I got from this company is beyond disgusting and ridiculous. I was being hung up on, placed on hold and the representative would never come back to the call, the list goes on and on. Worst experience of my life. birthday I’ll never forget, ruined.”
“DO NOT USE THIS SITE. Their site says nothing about them being a middle man when I went to purchase tickets. They held my money and told us we would have to wait until day of concert just few hours before the concert which was 2 hrs away to see if we get tickets which they told us at last minute the guy was not releasing them. They lied said they would find us other tickets and give a link to cancel the transaction which they NEVER DID. They wasted my time gas and stress by the LOUSY service they give. “Bruce Springsteen concert has been postponed twice. Stubhub refuses to refund as it's not canceled! Ridiculous policy. I can understand if the customer decides to back out that it's the customers issue.
This is the band postponing until 2024. I paid for tickets in February of 2023. Stubhub will have had my money for a product not received. That is a rip off. On a hope that maybe next year the tickets will be used? BS and a horrible way to do business.”
“Terrible! I bought parking pass and ticket to ND/OSU game and the tickets were never transferred. Spent over 2 hours on the phone and all they will do is give me a refund. What about the travel to the game, lost time, etc? What a joke! Avoid this site.”
