Dear Valued Client, Thank you for your feedback. We understand that the compensation may seem low compared with the overall amount you paid for the flight change, and we appreciate the opportunity to clarify how the compensation amount is determined. Your flight distance was 324.526 km. Under Regulation (EC) No 261/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 February 2004, compensation amounts are fixed by the regulation and are not calculated based on the ticket price, the cost of changing the flight, or the total amount you paid for your journey. The applicable compensation depends on the distance of the flight: * **EUR 250** for all flights of **1,500 kilometres or less**; * **EUR 400** for all intra-Community flights of more than 1,500 kilometres, and for all other flights between 1,500 and 3,500 kilometres; * **EUR 600** for all flights not falling under the above categories. Since your flight distance was 324.526 km, it falls within the first category. Therefore, the applicable compensation is EUR 250 per passenger. We would also like to clarify that the compensation has already been paid. The compensation was paid on 16 September 2026. We understand that the amount may not correspond to the overall costs you incurred when changing your flight. However, compensation under EC261 is a statutory amount determined by the flight distance and the circumstances covered by the regulation. It is therefore separate from the price paid for the flight or any additional amount paid to change the booking. We hope this clarifies both the compensation amount and the payment made in your case.
