“Well it’s definitely not Airporter! No help with bags, even for elderly passengers. No welcome on board or safety talk. Seats were extremely uncomfortable. Had to basically fight with seat to get it back to the upright position. I didn’t know that the stop had changed from in front of BFS to the side. A lady who wasn’t aware of this either was waiting at the old Airporter stop but waved for the bus as it passed. Driver ignored her and drove on. For both journeys the drivers were rude and unhelpful. Would definitely never use again.”

“The drive from the airport was spot on, the drive back was terrible, the driver was rude and his driving was unpleasant, unprofessional and unplanned. As a professional driving coach i nearly got up to give him some coaching on good eco driving. Constant heavy acceleration and braking, not looking ahead enough or anticipating traffic. Had he been one of my clients it would have been a fail and sent for retraining.”

“My wife and I are both retired and travel regularly availing of our travel pass with Aircoach. I can understand the 2 euro charge during peak periods, but will it return to free travel later in the year ? Drivers are always very courteous and helpful. We use the 702 route and wondering in time will it become an hourly service ? Keep up the Good Work!! Kind regards, Liam & Bernie Daly.”

“The bus was comfortable and clean. Both of which are very important to me. Everything was perfectly on time and It felt the drivers were competent. The driver on the trip from Dublin to Cork was initially abrupt, which took me off guard. But then, when I asked for directions from the drop off in Cork to the local bus station, he was very nice and helped me. The driver on the way from Cork to Dublin was very nice and let us know that we needed to tell him if we were too hot or too cold because he wouldn’t know what it was like for us in the back. Unfortunately, there were two people in the back who were playing their music so that everybody had to listen to it and it was filled with racial slurs and degradation of women. They were also singing loudly and rocking their seats aggressively. That was a bit difficult to endure.”

“I will be using this service time and time again. A comfortable journey from Derry to Belfast and all in super quick time. No worries about parking cars etc, left at front door and bus driver was a gentleman.”

“I would say the bus is very punctual. A little suggestion is to improve the route in Dublin City centre. I find a lot of time is wasted in the slow traffics there.”

“This was the easiest, most cost-effective way to get from Dún Laoghaire to the airport. Ran on time, got us where we had to go when we had to be there. Recommend!”

“On 30th Juene, I travelled on route 703 from Glasthule to the airport at 1705. I am a retired manager from a UK bus company. I was surprised to be told not to use the front seat as ‘it is broken’ as this would cause a prohibition (PG9) in the UK. Travel was brisk but braking was harsh and uncomfortable. We had to wait time at Blackrock as we were early something I had not experienced on this service before (I use it every other month as I visit my older sister ina care home). What did unnerve me was the failure to apply the handbrake at traffic stops, relying entirely on the foot brake with the possibility of the coach creeping if concentration is lost. I had the experience of one of my drivers dozing off in traffic leading to the death of a pedestrian. Hence I am a little sensitive on this subject.”
