Last Saturday I was at the Old Wesley bus stop of the 700 at 05.00 for the 05.07 bus that never arrived. at 05.30 I had to hail a taxi to get to the airport in time (35e). I subsequently heard that the bus arrived at the bus stop at 05.40. The whole point of using this service for me is the reliability especially early in the morning. I have been a big supporter of the service since it started but would now be worried if it would let me down again. After contacting customer service to highlight the issue I thought that at the very least a single journey from that bus stop would be offered as a gesture of goodwill. No was the answer. Rule 101 in customer service is keep long standing customers onside.

The reply was within 24 hours and gave me alternatives if my flight was delayed.

Time table for 702 says 13.39 for Shankill. It arrived at 13.31 so my friend missed it. Please change timetable on website. It was very annoying for her. Otherwise it’s a great service.

I had a horrible experience with aircoach. I waited for 2 1/2 hrs for a bus to take me to Belfast airport. After an hr I received an email saying my trip would be delayed an hr, I waited and ended up having to get my parent to rush me to the airport as I nearly missed my flight. I emailed twice and had no reply so I rang up, to speak with a rude customer service advisor. Who gave me attitude from the beginning, and told me I couldn’t get a refund because the bus turned up despite me standing there and seeing it did not. He then continued to argue with me on the phone about the situation, accused me of lying. I ended up hanging up with no refund and deciding to never use the service again.

Absolutely horrendous service. Simply asked was this the right bus and was rudely dismissed. We presented our tickets and were huffed at and told snarkily to just get on the bus. Have never dealt with such vindictive service on public transport

The 702 bus due at 11:05 on 7th January at Glasthule did not stop. When I rang I was advised they could not contact the driver. When I made a formal complaint, part of the response was to refund me the cost of the fare and describe this as a gesture of good will. I would expect a gesture of good will to be compensation over and above the statutory refund which was due to me as the service I signed up for was not provided by Aircoach.

2 services were delayed/cancelled with no notice. There were a large group of people waiting, several decided to pay taxis instead because of no notice. I messaged on twitter and got a response nearly an hour later by which time we had managed to get to the stop with the coach. Just poor services on the live chat - too late

Hi Aircoach I was travelling from Dublin Airport to Belfast this morning when i bored the bus at 9:30 the bus was running very late but the young man who was sitting on the bus minding his was gave us a great laugh and information about the bus we were travelling on and we left at 9:50 bit behind but I enjoyed this journey and this was a highlight of my trip to Belfast

My air coach to the airport did not turn up on 7th Jan. according to the timetable was due at Glasthule at 4.05 I had to get taxi which cost me a lot!!

I got the 9:55 bus from terminal 2 to greystones and the man working there was very friendly and so helpful, making sure every single person knew where they were going.

Terrible! I have been trying to find aircoach from Dun laoghaire to Dublin airport tomorrow morning before 9.30 it’s impossible because I get so many different times, the most inconsistent timetable ever. Is there a coach from Dun Laoghaire around 8am or not?

The service was cancelled without prior notice which forced me to take an expensive taxi ride else would have missed the flight. Although I was refunded for the bus ticket, there was no refund of taxi cost which clearly arose due to the inefficiency of the bus service

The bus was at least 30 minutes late so I had to find an alternative way to the airport. The office was shut as it was a Sunday morning and the online customer support would not accept my email address to register for help. Many other potential passengers gave up and caught taxis from the rank across the road after waiting for 30 minutes. What a waste of €10!

After a long journey and delayed flight our booked bus was missed - the next bus had availability for our family but the customer service lady at the bus stop was extremely rude and we were treated like second class citizens. Very disappointed with her attitude, not a great welcome for any tourists to our country. Otherwise a very good service for travelling to and from Dublin airport to Cork.

I booked the ticket for 1:57 pm from st Steven’s green to Dublin airport terminal 1 The bus gone before departure, I was waiting from 1:53 until 2:10 and the bus was not there that was absolutely disgusting, I had to take the taxi to get to airport on time.

Booked a ticket from Dublin to Belfast international airport with just enough time to catch my flight. I attempted to change to an earlier coach as I envisaged bad weather could mean delays but this was declined by customer service rep on phone. Got to Belfast city centre and bus driver discovered there’s no one to take over from her. She rang the office only to be informed that the driver to take over from her is running late due to being on a later bus which was delayed due to weather. She then told us there’ll be a delay of about an hour, worse still, she told us we needed to get off the bus and wait for the next bus to come. We pointed out to her that there’s no warm place to stay whilst waiting for the later bus as this was in the evening and the shops around were closed. We suggested staying on the bus whilst waiting would be safer than just being out on the streets but her response was she didn’t care as she needed to take the coach to their yard and go on her break. When we pointed out how it was insensitive for her to prioritise her break over customers’ safety, she became rude and unprofessional shouting and talking down on us stating it wasn’t her problem. We requested to talk to her supervisor in the office with the hopes of getting them to empathise with our plight of leaving us out in the cold unattended in a strange place but what we got was the shock of our lives when her boss told her to call the police on us to throw us off the coach. It was shocking to be threatened with the police just for asking that Air coach fulfill a contract between us. My contract of getting me from Dublin to Belfast airport clearly did not include being left out in the cold street for an hour or more. Had to find a Taxi to get me to the airport because it was not safe to stay out in the cold on the streets in a strange place at that time of the night. The taxi trip eventually cost me more than the cost of ticket from Dublin to Belfast. It would have been more cost effective for air coach to either; 1. Facilitate the driver to delay taking her break by just a few minutes to drop us off at the airport (which is just the next stop just less than 30 minutes away) and be compensated for the few minutes extra time. Or… 2. Facilitate a taxi or alternative arrangement to drop us off at the airport rather than throw us off the bus into the cold and threatening us with the police like we had committed a crime. Well, maybe it was a crime choosing Air coach. But I guess they didn’t care much about customers’ safety and experience, that much was communicated to us by the driver who minced no words in letting us know that her break takes priority over our safety and experience. So, very terrible service and the worst experience of my life and this is significant giving that I have experienced some really bad transport services growing up in Nigeria.
