The driver engaged in conversation that everyone on the bus had to listen to. By the time I got off the bus and I was more than midway down the bus I knew her name, where she lived and quite a bit more of her life experiences.

We use air coach 4-6 times a year to and fro Belfast / Dublin and have always been happy with the service. Our recent trip on the 12th Dec from Dublin, however, didn't feel up to the same standard. There was no WiFi on the coach and it felt somewhat uncomfortable in the wet weather as the driver for some reason only used his wiper blades from time to time with the large windscreen more often covered in spray. At Dublin airport the staff were quite brusque when asked where and when the coach was - after a long flight and early in the morning, this wasn't the best of customer service.

Sometimes the 700 does not come and there is no way of tracking it at all so, you never know if it will come or not. Another thing you need to change urgently is asking the poor drivers to check the tickets with a tablet. It never read the barcode straight away. If there is a queue specially when it approaches town its a nightmare. They need to check tickets, open the luggage compartment, close it...way too much time wasted.

The bus was extremely smell. Smelt like a public toilet so I’m guessing it was something to do with the on board toilet. It was very hard sitting on a two hour journey tbh. In my opinion the bus should have been switched out for another one that was fit for purpose.

Bus arrival at Glengall st was delayed by ten minutes. Immediately after departure it stopped due to an injured passenger. The first few passengers left the bus to catch the next bus . I managed to get a seat on the Translink service and just made my flight. I did not claim a refund

Had to pay in cash because they were trying to refuse money from a young Georgian family stuck in Belfast needing to get to Dublin with 100 Euro to their name and no card... they tried sending them on the bus into Belfast town even though the family spoke no English and would have had no way to know where to go... asbolutely batshit insane to not take cash in Ireland, when I got off the bus in Derry I was denied a taxi because they don't take card, denied a drink in the corner shop because they don't take card and then denied a meal in a takeaway because they don't take card but Aircoach can't take cash despite Airporter always taking cash before being bought out? Airporter was 100x better before it was bought out. Only 2 stars instead of zero because it's still the best way from Derry to Belfast int'l if you don't have a car especially when Translink is on strike. Will still use regularly, but it was so much better as Airporter before Aircoach bought them out.

Thank you very much Aodhan for taking the time to share your experience with Aircoach. We are very sorry for what happened to the young Georgian family, the 705X service is cashless and card only. We would love to understand better how we can make sure this doesn't happen again. Could you tell us more about the issues you identified in the Aircoach service, such as the difference between Aircoach and Airporter before the acquisition. All your insight would be highly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Trying to reserve seats for two travel passes and cannot see how, although your website clearly says seats can be reserved for travel passes. Frustrated.

The service itself is great to get from the airport to Dublin city centre and further South. However, the system used to announce the stops is terrible, especially if you’re a tourist or if Dublin is unfamiliar to you. The driver says the stop, but unless you’re sitting up at the front it’s impossible to hear him. I missed my stop as a result and had to wait and get off at the next stop instead. Not ideal when you have 2 large suitcases and have arranged for someone to pick you up at a specific stop. An announcement system like they have on the Luas telling you the stop and the upcoming stop would be so much better. Or simply providing the driver with a microphone would lessen the confusion. Or a bus stop button like they have on Dublin bus would also be a good idea. The service is decent, but could definitely be improved.

We really appreciate your suggestion for adding an announcement system or providing a bus stop button to help lessen the confusion. We are open to suggesting and making improvements to how we can provide a better service to our customers. Could you tell us more about what we can do to make things better? The bus driver was rude and wouldn’t let us put our heavy suit case is the bottom of the bus so we had to lift a 20kg bag up the stair. This is poor health and safety and customer service. Now I have a sore back for my trip away. Thanks

Thank you so much for bringing your experience to our attention. We are sorry to hear that sometimes our services with the 700 route have been so unreliable. The fact that you were not allowed on even with a booking and previously you experienced a delay is not the experience that we'd like you to have. We are working hard to keep our services as consistent and reliable as possible. This service should run every 15 minutes during busy periods. Although we strive to provide the best service possible unexpected delays unfortunately can and do happen.

Ridiculous to go through dublin centre for 2 people on the way up from cork to dublin airport.waste of time for a lot of people onboard particularly at peak traffic time

Thank you for taking the time to share your Aircoach experience with us. We are sorry to hear that your time on board was less than satisfactory, especially during peak traffic time. It is our intention to ensure that all passengers receive the best experience possible during their journey so would be grateful if you could provide us with a little more information about the difficulties you experienced going from Cork to Dublin Airport. We hope this information will enable us to make necessary changes so that we can offer our passengers a smoother journey. Thank you again for bringing these issues to our attention.

You really have to double up on your service, as before. A bus every 2 hours is not good enough.

Due to operational reasons, switching buses may happen. With the company health and safety protocols, drivers are not obliged to assist passengers with the lifting of or moving of luggage. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Driver and staff very friendly. Coach very comfortable Great service Disappointed that the toilet door was locked. But Im sure it will be rectified. Ovetall a great service However I have booked my return journey to Belfast with Dublin Express as I sometimes need a toilet because of a health condition. I will see what I think of myjourney with Dublin Express

- The bus app does not work - no bookings are visible - The bus does not arrive at the time for which you booked a ticket - If you are too early or the bus is too late you can be refused entrance to the bus - The flex-tocket is not flex at all -

I understand that Aircoach often provides timely service across Ireland. Unfortunately the first and only time I used it was after an early morning international flight, with a teen and preschooler in tow, in a chilly rain, and the bus was an hour late with no notification until we had already stood there for an hour. Then there was no heat on the bus. Or toilet paper in the restroom. So I will be thinking twice about riding again 😂

Thanks so much for your honest feedback. I'm sorry to hear about the negative experience you had with Aircoach - that must have been very stressful with young kids involved. We sincerely apologize for the lateness of the bus and the lack of warmth and amenities onboard. We appreciate your taking the time to let us know about it and we'd like to make it up to you. Can we ask how we can improve this experience for you in the future? We take feedback very seriously and would love to learn what we can do to make your experience better in the future. Thank you again for your time.

Travelled on the 2:30pm Coach from Dublin Airport to Cork yesterday (30th). Bus arrived approx 15 mins late Not an Aircoach Bus but a private operator. Driver obviously was not familiar with route. Got lost in Dublin city centre. Missed the turn to join the M50 and ended up driving across country to join N7 via Newcastle. Passengers were giving driver directions to get back on the Cork road. Arrived in Cork 1 hour late. Not good enough

Service worked perfectly on the journey from Dublin airport to Drumcondra on Sunday 29th October but the return bus journey was very disappointing. We arrived 15 minutes early to the bus stop for our 17.53 booking. A bus flew passed without stopping at 17.45 (presume this was an earlier bus that was late??) and then another bus did not arrive until 18.15 so no bus at 17.53 or 18.00. It is stressful when you are going to the airport for a flight and you don't know how long to wait or pay for a taxi. There was no number to call as they are closed after 5.30. I think an app with realtime arrival times would improve the service. I would question whether to use this service again.
