We purchased Aldi's crumpets. When we opened the packet on the same day, we found each of the 6 pieces mouldy. We tried to contact them, but with no avail. For a big company like this, there is no phone number for you to speak to someone. Through their website, we were asked to email them with a photo download of the product, the batch code, the bar code and receipt, which was a waste of time. Their Policy is to take the goods back and get a refund at our expense. All they do is dictate to you. I wonder just how many people do what they tell you. This is supposed to be a billion dollar company, with no one to speak to. When anybody has any problems with any other big business, including the Government, you can always talk to someone, even the little businesses. It leaves a lot to be desired with no business ethics from Aldi.

I placed an order with next day delivery on 27th December. It's now 28th December and no order has arrived. The most annoying thing is Aldi don't care, They say it's Yodals fault. Two days before Xmas Aldi where sending emails promising deliveries before Xmas. I'd been waiting over 10 days by then. Not acceptable Aldi Like you care!!!!

This evening at the McKinley Park Blasdell store a stock girl with a dark-haired ponytail was rude and non-helpful when I was forced to go in the back to get help in the dairy section, I couldn't reach down to retrieve the product I was looking for due to physical limitations. I did at first call out for someone but they didn't answer. She said "you can't come back here" without even asking what I needed. As an advanced age working-class woman with a positive IQ I knew that already and said that I called for assistance but no one helped me and then she had the audacity to walk away!!! This is not good customer service!!!

I have shopped Aldi's for 3 years in Pa and have had an exceptional experience . After moving to Cookeville Tn, i have had moldy food on 2 occasions and sour tasting salmon. Called customer service...what a joke! They have lost a longtime customer.

I placed an order on the 17th Dec paid for next day delivery Sat 18th Dec the order never arrived. The most annoying thing is Aldi we're sending me emails on Wed 22nd and Thur 23rd December saying Get your orders in today for delivery before Xmas. When they know they can't deliver an order that was placed 10 days before Xmas. I called the customer service and they said it was Yodal. So why are they sending emails a few days before Xmas promising delivery. Totally wrong and not at all fair to there customers.

Thanks Aldi for wasting my money on a Xmas hamper that has not been delivered . Customer service need to answer phone calls and Aldi Should invest in using a better delivery company than Hermes. Never again . .

Would give no stars if I could - ordered Christmas hamper in October. I was notified at end of November it was with the local delivery depot- nothing arrived. Many many phone calls to Aldi later who also gave conflicting information to resolve issue. They eventually said they would send another hamper - I received confirmation last Sunday it would be delivered that Sunday. It didn’t arrive - cue yet more phone calls to Aldi, who quoted conflicting information from delivery company. One person in Customer services, after continually interrupting me then put the phone down on me. They seem incapable as a company of sending a parcel to a customer - why is this so difficult. Won’t be using them again. Offered a carrot but beaten with a stick and poorer financially for the hellish experience that is Aldi online…

AVOID Aldi Ambiano electrical products - I purchased 2, both faulty, impossible to get repair, replace or refund out of Aldi, awful customer service, even with arbitration service involved.

I loved the sausage patties at $5.xx. It was a good deal. Yesterday I went to buy some and they were $6.89!. A whopping $2 difference! I won't be purchasing any more.

Mrs Richards. How on earth can you give them 5 stars for a complaint? Hmmm. Lots of people always go into these inferior stores just to buy offers, food or otherwise.

I am not a regular shopper at Aldi because of their poor quality of fresh products. However, today, 6th December, I decided to give them another chance and ventured into my Dover, Kent store. This really is the last time I do so. I bought celery, snap peas and broccoli spears. The celery was utterly disgusting and full of dark brown slime inside! The snap peas were flimsy, soft and yellowish, which did not show up through packaging. Why did I do it? I do not know. Bad judgement? For sure. The store has had a revamp and did look better but the fresh produce still shocking. Also the extremely customer unfriendly checkouts designed to get you to pack at their annoying "packing area". The ridiculous thing about them is that few people do so. For myself, and others I know, this is the number one turn off for them in Aldi stores. Why do they do so? Because Aldi will never admit they are wrong. It is a climb down for them.

So much for having a 60 day returns policy! I was queuing up as Aldi opened to beat the rush as I had a bottle of alcohol bought in error that I needed to return. The bottle was as new and I had my original receipt. In-store I was told they have a no return/refund policy on alcohol and I needed to contact customer services, what should have been a simple transaction is now going to take much more time than it should. Come on Aldi, get your act together!

Anpr operated parking restrictions with only small signage placed ‘conveniently’ high up, out of natural line of sight mean I WiLL NEVER SHOP WITH ALDI AGAIN. Be careful folks you will not see the signs, I had to go back to see if there even was any. They are there but are solely for them to point out AFTER you have been fined NOT to inform you of a possible infringement before it may occur and enable you to make an informed decision.

Don't like this place at all, staffing problems , not a smile in sight. Not as cheap and cheerful than Lidal. Leave salad stuff on the shelves until the very last minute of its display date, by the time you take it home & use the following day it stinks, mushy and need to bin it. Chocolate oaties biscuits missing chocolate coated biscuits, half the packets are plain.

Another DIY product failed on first use. Trying to claim on the warranty was so long winded, involves a separate company you can't get through to, and they arrange collection's by Hermes who don't turn up but claim they did. Cheap and nasty waste of time and money.

Aldi's does not stand by it's food products that are delivered by delivery services. They pass the buck and tell you that the delivery service is responsible for the quality of their products because they bought the contract. BE FOREWARNED....unless you plan on putting a claim in right away with the delivery service, you will not receive a refund for a bad food item.
