Let's try to clear something up. Reading these reviews seems to suggest that the vast majority of reviewers find aldi not satisfactory. If it is so good and full of quality why don't more people say so. Yes, you do get the odd staff review, but these must of course be discounted. This company is there for one purpose only, to sell to the British public cheap and mostly inferior goods of the food variety. They operate in their own home country and elsewhere in the same manner. I know because I have been to them. In my opinion you simply cannot buy quality food which is cheap. It does not happen. Not now and never has. If this company had good customer relations it might give them one redeeming factor, but it doesn't.

I was at aldi in kilmarnock a couple of days ago and did some light shopping. One of the items i purchased was frazers steak bakes sold in packets of two and cosy£1 , 19 pence. I did read the contents of ingrediants and was impressed by meat content of 63%. Today the 6/12/19 i decided to have one . It was a sickening experience as i was eating fat only and on looking inside i could see meat content was spread like jam but thinner. Returned them today and had a full refund. Why doesnt trading standards not do checks on such items. They can print anything on packaging knowing that no checks are done. Wished i had taken photo.

Daily Express carried an a advert for aldi today....I quote...."If consumers were to do a one-stop-shop aldi is the cheapest place to go to feed a family of eight". End of quote. This conclusion was come to by "Good Housekeeping". Please notice that they said nothing whatsoever about quality, only that it was likely cheapest. If quality was involved they would for sure have said so. Sorry aldi, seems it has backfired upon you. Cheapest could be, quality not.

I bought a pack of Tortelloni (65p) from a store I was passing. When I got home I noticed there was mould in the pack. I contacted customer "service" who told me to return it to a store for refund or replacement. My nearest store is 5 miles away (10 mile round trip). Made the journey at some inconvenience and expense. 65p Tortelloni no longer stocked....now £1.15. They refused to swap the pack for the dearer one , despite my long journey. No real apology. Contacted customer service again , and just got the same brush off. Customer"service" DISGUSTING!

I went into aldi in Dover this morning at 0900 hrs just to see if I had been unfair in my previous review. Not to see if quality had improved because it never will, but to see if the store was still in a shocking mess. IT WAS!! I counted thirteen, yes that's right, thirteen loaded pallets in various walkways just sitting there waiting to be unloaded. Five of these were wire type containers. What it is with this store I do not know. The windows were filthy in parts pf the store too. At least try to keep the store neat and tidy. Very bad impression with Morrisons, Asda, and Farm Foods very close by. Iceland too with home delivery, which is reliable, unlike aldi's delivery system which has to be the worse in the trade.

I brought a box of jacket potatoes today after time for microwaves they were like rock at least with McCain when cooked in a microwave they soft and not rock hard, what gets me no where on the box is, where its from, and the company who did not part cook them, and then have to take them back and stand in huge line to get a refund and should I take the part eaten ones back, as well the box, no one person seems to have cooked and tried it, I have learnt one thing don't buy any food from Aldi stores in Swindon only coop or Lidl they food seams fresher, its one only star, but if I could it be none.

Have been purchasing Aldi's 'Stackers' crisps for some time. A few weeks ago they disappeared from the shelves. Now they have returned in different packaging and larger crisps. I have always bought 'original flavour' but find the recipe has been changed considerably and for the worse. Although still palatable the new 'original' flavour is nothing like as good as the original 'original' flavour. Not only that but glucose has been added, which makes it a no-no for me, a diabetic. How can something be 'original' if it's just been changed? Perhaps a complaint to the Advertising Standards is in order. I won't recommend this product any longer.

Purchased 4 195g sirloin steaks if I had been served these in a restaurant I would have sent them back. A lot of sinew and fatty tissue which resulted in approx. 25% waste. Not to be recommended.

We live in Sidmouth but go to Aldi in Honiton. Went today to find most of our normal buys out of stock. No fresh orange juice, no bread etc. We did pick up some beetroot that was vac packed and dated April 20. However opened it this evening to find it was not really beetroot colour. I tasted it to find that it was soft and tasted off. I don't know what has changed at Honiton but unless it gets back to normal will be going elsewhere in future. Lidl or Tesco.

I assume you mean "oh my goodness". One item does not mean that all their products are of good quality. Far from it. Another fake one perhaps. Staff member no doubt. As for the beef Wellington it seems to have lived up to it's name very well. Tough as old boots. Makes one wonder how come it still got three stars. Christmas Fayre? Go to Asda.

Apart from the usual amount of fake reviews of late, aldi live up to their bad reviews. Yes, I did know that this company had just suffered their worse financial year ever, and no surprises really. Their home delivery still rates the highest of all for being extremely bad with zero customer service regarding non or late delivery. It is still anti older less able customer service, and still has it's ludicrous jet propelled checkouts. It still has it's not good quality food items (what you get for the price) and still fills shelves from pallets when the store is open.

Ordered goods and paid for NEXT DAY DELIVERY waited in as it was a wine order and required a signature. Nothing arrived. Telephoned and told to wait until 8pm for delivery as they were experiencing despatch delays. Nothing arrived telephoned next day only to be told same, asked for refund of my next day charge, which isn't much compensation. Also told they have NO IDEA when Yodel will deliver my wine UP TO 7 DAYS I required this for an engagement party and will now need to go out and buy another £100 worth of goods. Disgraceful service and nothing for the inconvenience. If no signature available the order will be returned, what a joke, do they think people can stay in and wait for it to turn up. Do not order from this company, totally unreliable, this is not the first time this has happened.

Made online delivery order for delivery on Saturday 9th Nov 19. Order has just arrived today 12th Nov. Items ordered were for a special occasion on Sunday 10th Nov 19 so paid the Sat delivery fee. E-mailed Aldi customer services on the Sunday. No reply received or refund for Sat delivery fee. Feel sorry for Yodel who delivered today and probably get the criticism for late delivery

Awful staff. throwing people threw the isles to maximise profits. Tills barely staffed as staff are deployed stocking the shelves of goods they have just beeped out. Management have no clue and are rude to customers. Show elsewhere and keep the money in local shops economy.

Terrible customer services. Promised collection of faulty product (too big and heavy to take back to a store) ordered on line. Waited in two whole nominated days for collection. nothing. Numerous phone calls, promised calls back, nothing happened. Will someone tell the director responsible for customer services to wake up. No point in having online orders if they cannot do better than this.

Truly awful experience - will never step foot in an Aldi store ever again and I am adfvising my family and friends to do the same. Foolishly I trusted Aldi and bought a gazebo in the summer. Got the gazebo out of the box and put it up and it bent immediately - totally unfit for purpose, thin metal poorly put together, screws loose and couldn't be tightened without them stripping out - rubbish, rubbish, rubbish - stitching came apart - total rubbish. I had the same response as some other reviewers and was told to speak to a 3rd party not Aldi- the 3rd party were based in Germany - the gazebo came from China. I refused to give the 3rd party my home address as I didn't want a replacement rubbish unit - the 3rd party promised in writing they would not send me anything but I had to give my home address - so - stupidly - I did trust them and did give my home address and sure enough a few days later another pile of Chinese junk rolled up - delivered direct from Germany ! The saga has continued - I still have a pile of junk in my hall - I won't bore you with the rest of the details - it's ongoing. Environemtally - Aldi are 100% killing the planet - containers of c**p gazebos shipped from China - distributed around the UK - sent back to Germany - sent back to England - sent back to Germany - sent back to England and finally end up in landfill. Aldi - please CHANGE and care for our planet. Your are rubbish - just like the products you sell.

I agree with that. Buy lots and lots of items there and save money. Thing is this.....is it value and good quality? Without writing an essay the short answer is no. If people are on fixed budgets, and many are, nothing wrong with that is there, then this company is for them. Nothing wrong with that either. It certainly does NOT make me a snob simply because I can afford to go elsewhere. Even I go there from time to time to look for their electrical things etc.
