Well I never. This is not poets corner it is a review site. Another fake one. The trolley rolled from aisle to aisle? What sort of aldi store do you work in? Is the floor that uneven? Obviously, as you would not say so. PLEASE folks, keep it to genuine reviews and not vivid imaginations.

Three more put up reviews. I refer to the last three. If staff are going to do this do at least write them to look like they are authentic. We all know what a nasty company this is, and yes, you may find one or two staff who stand out for kindness. This however does not make for a good overall experience. Has everyone forgotten how this company treat the elderly and less able at the checkouts? have you ever seen an elderly lady frightened to go into her local aldi (small "a" deliberate)? Why? Because she was afraid what would happen to her at the checkout. How do I now? Because I stopped and asked her what was wrong as she looked so worried. What a disgrace. This was at the DOVER store in KENT.

We were prevented to have bags until the guy finished scanning all of our shopping. He whispered to us that they were trained to do so and say to costumers to pack their shopping on the side after paying, but he took his headset off of his head before saying this. This happened at aldi at marton road, Middlesbrough.

Well that one flies in the face of all the others stating just how dreadful their delivery service is. We know who to believe don't we. My guess is that Lidl stay away from home delivery for one very good reason.....no comebacks from angry customers who wait in for non or late delivery, which Aldi are famous for.

I think the last review was a put up job personally. If it was really this good where are all the other reviews regarding it. Aldi have more negative reviews than any other supermarket. "Super" is one thing it is not.

Aldi and Yodel... bad combination Missed delivery of wine (10 bottles) so was asked to collect from Yodel depot ... went to collect to be told all bottles smashed. Rang Aldi ... no problem with reorder ... arranged free Saturday delivery due to inconvenience caused . Arranged for delivery to parents as I wasn’t around at weekend. .... no wine delivered .... still waiting. Called Sunday ... where is the wine ... no problem I was told .. it’s on the van for Monday (tracking will update overnight). Monday morning ... no update in tracking so called customer services ... where is the wine? No problem I was told ... it’s on the van for delivery today. Great! Made arrangements to have neighbours sign for parcel. Lunch time ... checked tracking ... indicated wine was not on van so rang customer services. Received an apology this time .... wine not on the van no reason why I should have been told anything other. By this time patience was running out ... asked to speak with a mgr ... was told I would be added to a ‘call list’ for a call later today! So now .... still waiting for wine ... and still waiting for a manager to call. What a load o£&@£.... Aldi ... you just lost a wine customer!!

Neither should you have to fight. It was your consumer right to have it replaced or a full refund. No favours were done really.

Bought 'that's it' apple and pear bars on 22nd July 2019 to find use by date is 24th April 2019. Customer services inept, did not even ask for my address. This is totally unacceptable. Goodness knows what I've eaten. Aldi should get their act together. Luckily rarely shop there.

Love Aldi products, but trying to make a list off their website is ridiculous! Who designed your website??!! This is the most UN user friendly website I've ever used. Shopping for a family is stressful enough so this site sent me over the edge!! Sorry but I'd rather pay a few extra quid and use Asda instead. 😥😥

Wish this company were cost effective but alas, they are not. My local store is an utter disgrace. One female staff member graciously (not) moving away from front of shelving so customers could look on them. Her posture and looks were awful to behold! Next, another female member of staff was pulling a trolley loaded with a pallet full of stock around and getting in everyone's way. Is this a health and safety issue? Wouldn't mind betting it was, especially in this store's narrow aisles. Did I say which store? It was the Dover one......again it seems.

Aldi have more negative reviews than any other supermarket chain on this site. Speaks volumes doesn't it. The few that are otherwise don't seem genuine to me.

I agree very much with what you said regarding homosexuals etc etc. Same for me. No more Aldi shopping. Incidentally this applies to my whole family AND everyone I know who shopped there.

Shopped at Aldi since it's beginning, loved the prices and also the staff, have become mates over the last many years. As of last week, shopped at its rival. The gay women advert did it for me. oh, not anti gay as ex wife is one,and married to a woman, but to have it pressured onto me to think this is "normal", it is not. On that note, your losses will be Spars gains and also Lidls.,Aldi, you are a disgrace. I will never shop with you again.

Just be selective? What with? Most of the products are poor quality. Actually, saying "just be selective" is in fact making it clear that many of their products are not fit for purpose, and one needs to be careful.

Agreed. Nevertheless, for reasons unknown, people still shop there. The only conclusion is that they are prepared to take a chance that the food they buy might be eatable. It never has been for myself or people I know though.

Wow is all I can say about this store on Union Street Plymouth.. thought I would try here for my roast bits instead of Lidl for a change. I Walked around the store and walked back out again. Never have I been so disgusted about a supermarket and embarrassed for the staff. They obviously don't give a s**t or are heavily understaffed. Food allover the floor even a bag of flour was open on the floor, shelves were pretty much empty, you could smell the mould that was on the fruit when you picked it up.. the whole store is dark and gloomy and looks like a jumble sale.. never going back again and I will be telling everyone about it too. No matter how cheap it is, it's not even worth the sickness bug and walked into Lidl and what a difference. Will be staying with Lidl from now. Thanks for the worst shopping experience I've ever had..

Four stars for plants? You were very fortunate as most of their stores sell dried out soil plants.

Hello, Just writing to you to give a feedback of the service we were given at Castle Hill Westfield store in NSW by an employee "Mumme". On 22nd July between 1.30 pm and 2:00 pm, we were at the payment counter to buy wine and other groceries. But she asked for Ids for my husband and me as we were together. My husband had the Id but my Id was in the car so I couldn't present it. But she refused to give us wine, but didn't explain why as she apparently couldn't explain, so then her colleague sitting at the back gave us the reason for that. It was weird and embarrassing as she was very rude and had sarcastic and was almost laughing or happy face when we were upset with refusal, as she knew there is nothing we can do according to the rules. We didn't understand why, as she had not reason to say no apart from not having the ID and then this rude behaviour was day spoiling for us (by the way I am almost 30 and not at all look less than 25 and we decent, if want you can check the surveillance camera recordings as well). But then we said at the counter that my husband will come again as a new shopper and I will stand outside, not knowing that once refused she will not let us buy again. But she again has that laughing face embarrassing us and not explain us that even if he comes again, she will not let us but the wine. She just let us go ahead, my husband again stood in the line and when he reached at the counter, she again refused him rudely. This was something we call misuse of the rights you are given. She was a RSA holder, if she refuses we cannot do anything and this was something she used, as she apparently was very confident that we cannot do anything. And to be honest, we could not think of any reason she would have done this, and sadly made us think that this act was of racist nature. But this not just about refusal, its also about rude and insulting attitude, bad communication skills and not wanting to help customers and explain anything they don’t know to avoid their inconvenience. This was the extreme level of insult and bad customer service as she was not ready to explain anything to us, she was just trying to make us do effort and then embarrass us, we couldn't understand why and will never do, because she could have explained us everything nicely at the very first time and made it easy for us, but she chose a really bad way. After that we asked us to talk to the manager, manager was very nice and apologetic to us. He explained us that if he was at the counter, he would have given us the drinks and as that lady has RSA and has refused us, he can't sell us now. So manager explained everything nicely and had good customer service, while Mumme gave a horrible experience at ALDI with her rude and insulting attitude, bad communication skills and not wanting to help customer and explain anything. We are regular customer of ALDI but after this incident we will always keep ourselves away from ALDI as it is hard to forget that insult to a decent customer without any reason. Kind Regards Neha
