If there was a zero rating I would give it.. Dont trust the online ordering of special buy products. After joining online virtual Q at 5am in April and securing a corner suite, the courier XDP lost it.... Aldi waited almost a month before investigating. I requested they send same suite from new stock advertised due in May. But they have refused. Totally against my wishes they have refunded even though they are hyping the product as back in stock soon (23 May.. ) I now have matching stools and cushion covers but no suite. Apalling customer service, including from the CEO who offered a goodwill gesture of £40. They totally miss the point. It's not discount that is required it is the suite purchased on line but which Aldi's chosen courier lost in transit. I think a change of courier is required as there are other reviews with similar experience. Also worrying is lack of environmental issues. The courier took 6 journeys to deliver 5 of my 6 items. They used old diesel vans and couldnt open the rear door for one parcel so had to make a 2nd journey. There seemed to have been no attempt to minimuse journeys by combining my order even though all the products were from the same furniture range. Huge carbon footprint for my order of Aldis rattan garden furniture (and still I have no corner suite).

Aldi- XDP delivery never arrived. No notifications after initial email saying it was collected. Unable to contact them. No replies. No explanation. Not helpful, won’t order from Aldi online again. Might be great products and prices but no good if you don’t deliver or tell me!

Tried to return an Aldi special buy as it was faulty. I did not have the receipt but I could prove by a credit card statement I had shopped in store. Manager very condescending and I felt so demined I left with the faulty item. He wanted me to prove what time I had been in store. Also there is no customer services so you have to sort at the till holding others customers up and this is embarrassing. My dignity worth more than the £15. Can only advise other customers that taking something back that's faulty can be very uncomfortable and you are made to feel in the wrong.

Aldi has some very nice and reasonably priced seasonal items. I go on Sunday morning when the store opens to purchase what I like because those items go quickly. I think it is very unfair that there is not a limit on those items. I went for the outdoor welcome signs on April 25 when the store opened. There was a crowd rushing to get in. The isle was crowded and there were people purchasing up to 6 of them. I believe there should be a limit on these items just like certain food items because since there is a limited supply of these items also. It seems a fairer way for all your customers. I did make a purchase, but in a fair way for all those wanting to purchase theirs.

Bought cordless circular saw, battery and charger on 31st Oct 2020. Used four times and saw lifeless along with a battery that will not charge. 15 days later of emails, CS wait time of 30+ minutes photo of receipt and more emails quoting they would give it 3 days when contacting the manufacturer...... Do not buy these from Aldi. It is a massive procedure hoping you cannot be bothered. In fact they gamble on their bloated procedure wearing folk down. No CS in store or helpful contact. Avoid like the plague.

I bought a product from Aldi which was found to be defective. Reporting the problem to Aldi & requesting a replacement has led to a catalogue of incompetence, inefficiency & poor service. I spent over 90 minutes waiting for my call to be answered, I was told my replacement request would be dealt with urgently- IT WASN'T. Aldi completely ignored my request for a replacement product & started processing a refund instead. A number of complaint emails are still yet to be answered. The UK arm of Aldi certainly isn't being run with German efficiency. If you buy from Aldi & something goes wrong (which it probably will with the poor quality of goods being supplied) don't expect Aldi to rush to your assistance.

Received my product which was quite large. There were four screws missing. Contacted Customer support for assistance. Totally rude and unhelpful. Only help I was given was to return the product. I even offered to purchase the screws if they could advise type, size etc. No information or support given only advice given was to send back product. Extremely disappointed

I ordered photos from Aldi Photos on the 23rd of March, it's now the the 11th of April, thats 19 days to get the photos and im still waiting. I got really annoyed as I wanted to send them in a birthday card myself, so ordered them from another website and got them to the door in two days for a similar price. I only ordered 9 photos. The price was quite cheap but I would never use them again and would strongly advise others not to either. DO NOT USE ALDI PHOTOS THERE ARE MUCH BETTER EQUALLY PRICED ALTERNATIVES OUT THERE. jamie

I ordered a crane 6 in 1 trainer, which I really wanted, waited ages and nothing came, eventually got through and complained to customer service, few days later got a call from Aldi representative saying the item I ordered was stolen by someone from Hermes depot so I bin not receive anything, absolutely diabolical and discusted, now try to order second one, it’s no longer available!!!!!!!!! Will not be ordering online again! The returns process is appalling. Customer service is non existent. No one replies to emails, FB and wait on phone is over 30mins! Had to email threatening to get the money back via the bank which seemed to get a response. Will be sticking to Amazon in future. The parcel was returned over 1 month ago and am still chasing for a refund! Tracking from Royal Mail clearly shows Aldi has the parcel back. Aldi is obviously having a lot of issues judging by all the bad reviews about online orders.

Customer Service absolutely disgusting on with my 4th phone call totalling now 4 hours and still on hold. Returned 2 parcels on the 8th March, one has been refunded, but the other hasn't been refunded. Trying to get through to someone to process my refund, on hold for 1 hour 20mins got to 7.49pm when they just cut the call off, customer service closes at 8pm! Tried calling the next day only to be told that she shouldn't be in this loop as she can't process refunds and that I had to call back. phoned back again on hold for another hour finally spoke to a Kieran on 30th March 2021 who said she would send an email as she couldn't take bank details over the phone, I complained to her about the length of time I've had to wait to have a refund processed when its their error. 31st March 2021 still not received an email, to be honest not holding out much hope of receiving it. Aldi really have to come up with a better system of contact as this one is clearly not working.

I’m hugely disappointed that they have changed their delivery terms, now charging more than most products in their market to deliver!! At a time when folks can only get delivery in some areas - nit good Aldi bad time not impressed

AVOID ,AVOID ,AVOID ... Steaks chosen really with no care what so ever , 3 rump steaks with huge veins through them ,something you wouldn’t buy if they were half price . One box of dog pouches missing . 8 other items missing and still charged for , raw meat ,mixed with cooked food , £4.99 , they are having a laugh 😱 I booked clic and collect as I’m short in time ....however I will be visiting tomorrow to take back their lousy steaks and get my £4.99 back and I want petrol money ....wish me luck 😱😱😱🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Aldi customer service is horrific. Literally spent hours on hold to return a rubbish scarifier which failed first use. E mailed but no reply A week later. I give up! Which in my opinion is what they want to offer no customer service anymore.

I had an humiliating experience in store there is no customer service team that really helps so no point complaining, luckily we have a new Lidl that has ironed up so will take my money there instead.

Aldi policy of criminalising customers for cashier errors At our local Aldi store, my wife paid for her shopping at the till in the usual way, but as she walked towards the exit, she was stopped by a security guard who demanded to check her shopping against her receipt, ordering her to empty the contents of her bag on the floor. He then allowed her to collect her shopping again and go on her way. Aldi have a policy of encourging cashiers to scan the items as quickly as possible, then search exiting customers' bags with the intent of criminalising the customers for any items that the cashier might have missed scanning properly. Aldi cashiers scan items far too quickly for the customer to check whether every item was scanned properly, as the customer is busy removing items that are filling the tiny removals area with considerable speed. In any case, it is not the customer's responsibility to ensure that every item was scanned. Nor is it realistic for the customer to check the receipt against all bagged items after paying. I do not intend to return to Aldi in view of this dishonest policy, as I can never be sure that the cashier has scanned every item. I am not responsible for any missed scans the cashier might make, and I do not wish to be criminalised for any items the cashier might miss scanning. Nor does my wife wish to be humiliated in public again in our local store.

Absolutely terrible service received my ordered wrong planned to have it exchanged the company had no problem picking up my ordered off me but then no reply at all, I sent them several emails with not one reply to any of them! I rang customer services to which I was hung up on twice, transferred to 4 different people to go through the same procedure to them be told after 1 hour 30 minutes on the phone that they are now out of stock and no idea to when they will be back in! I do not recommend this company at all the service is disgusting!
