I had an humiliating experience in store there is no customer service team that really helps so no point complaining, luckily we have a new Lidl that has ironed up so will take my money there instead.

Aldi policy of criminalising customers for cashier errors At our local Aldi store, my wife paid for her shopping at the till in the usual way, but as she walked towards the exit, she was stopped by a security guard who demanded to check her shopping against her receipt, ordering her to empty the contents of her bag on the floor. He then allowed her to collect her shopping again and go on her way. Aldi have a policy of encourging cashiers to scan the items as quickly as possible, then search exiting customers' bags with the intent of criminalising the customers for any items that the cashier might have missed scanning properly. Aldi cashiers scan items far too quickly for the customer to check whether every item was scanned properly, as the customer is busy removing items that are filling the tiny removals area with considerable speed. In any case, it is not the customer's responsibility to ensure that every item was scanned. Nor is it realistic for the customer to check the receipt against all bagged items after paying. I do not intend to return to Aldi in view of this dishonest policy, as I can never be sure that the cashier has scanned every item. I am not responsible for any missed scans the cashier might make, and I do not wish to be criminalised for any items the cashier might miss scanning. Nor does my wife wish to be humiliated in public again in our local store.

Absolutely terrible service received my ordered wrong planned to have it exchanged the company had no problem picking up my ordered off me but then no reply at all, I sent them several emails with not one reply to any of them! I rang customer services to which I was hung up on twice, transferred to 4 different people to go through the same procedure to them be told after 1 hour 30 minutes on the phone that they are now out of stock and no idea to when they will be back in! I do not recommend this company at all the service is disgusting!

Ordered 2 garden roll out paths but only 1 delivered. Have spoken to a customer services person who could only mail the online order department. Not a good service as I still have not been contacted by them.

Never been more unhappy with a company or it’s customer service. Ordered the scalloped bed as soon as it was available, the base was delivered however the headboard was not. I was advised just a headboard could not be sent but the base had to be collected and the order put through again. The collection was organised the first time and they never showed up meaning I had to call yet again. I was told to call back as soon as the bed had been collected and they would arrange for a new one to be delivered as soon as they had confirmation it was collected. I have had to call around 15 times since then (having to wait up to 40 minutes in a queue sometimes) to get a replacement bed. Every time I have called I have been told something different. There has been no resolution other than just to wait for the replacement to be processed but they are unable to tell me when that will be, I have never even been offered a refund. I have asked to speak to a manager and been told they will call be back however never did. It has been over a month now since ordering this bed. I am extremely disappointed that they took a substantial amount of money from me and are not even attempting to help at getting a replacement. I have been extremely patient up until this point however am at the end of my tether now.

I have shopped at aldis for years mainly at Archer Rd Sheffield which has always been fine. Yesterday I went to st James's next to Graves sport centre Norton. It was a Thursday and quite. Everything was fine until we arrived at the check out. The girl started before we were ready and virtually pushed the food through. I asked her to slow down and she answered is was acting under instructions. We spent over a £100 but the experience was dreadful. I spoke to the manager who wasn't very interested. Will never return. Very awful shopping experience.

Worst experience do not buy any large gym equipment from them. Got 1 out of the 3 parcels needed waited over a month nearer 2 now for the parcel. Returned the item and still no refund after I sent proof of return 3 weeks ago What a joke. Now my return has gone missing in the post too and won’t give me my money back which is £300 and I need to back. Fed up with them need to try harder

Did our second click and collect shopping order with Aldi (the first one went well, so had no concerns) my husband went to collect and replied to the text with our name what bay he was in, whilst he was waiting another man drove in to collect his order. When the first order was brought out, my husband got out the car, assuming it was our order as he had got there first, he told the lady bringing the order out his name, to be told that wasn't the name on the order, so it must be the other man's order. He waited back in the car while they loaded the other mans car up, then they brought out another order and loaded it into our car, as the lady was putting bags in the car my husband noticed that the items in the bags didn't look like our shopping. He rang me at home to check some of the things we'd ordered and confirmed that the shopping he had been given wasn't ours. He went into the store and explained, when they checked they realised that they had given our order to the other man who had been waiting and my husband was told to go back in 1 hour whilst they re picked our shopping. When he went back, he noticed that the man who had been given our order was also back, when the lady came out of the store, she told my husband that they hadn't re picked our shopping as they had got in touch with the man who had been given our order by mistake. She then took the shopping out of his car and put it straight in our car!! When we finally got our shopping home and unpacked it, we had items missing from our order and frozen items that were no longer any good!!! Also, due to the current circumstances, we were not happy that our shopping had been given to someone else, gone in their car and their home, before it was given to us!!! Unfortunately, my husband is a bit soft and didn't think to refuse this shopping and demand that we had our shopping re picked. He did however ask if we could get a refund, even if it was just the £4.99 we had paid for the click and collect, to be told they can't give refunds in store and we'd have to do it on line. When I looked on line, their is no option for refunds on their click and collect orders, it just says to take products back to the store if there are any problems. We'd already wasted enough time and petrol going to and from Aldi for one day, so in the end put it down to a loss, but we won't be doing another click and collect with Aldi. We will go back to the other supermarkets and use their click and collect service, who are free to use or a lot cheaper than the £4.99 we paid at aldi and who offer a much better click and collect service!!!

I have bought Aldi beef olives previously and always been fine. Cooked some today same timings as directed plus temperature and they were awful. Stuffing was falling out middle and when dished up tasted like sandpaper. Yuck never again!

Shelled pistachios are chewy. Only .07 cents less per ounce as Wonderful pistachios. Definitely not worth the savings. Disappointed.

I bought a micro Scalextric as a present for my son. Broke the first time we used it - terrible quality, very flimsy. Very disappointed in this product. Will not be shopping at Aldi again.

I bought a pair of blue and white striped, yellow sole rimmed wellington boots, size 4. I used them for a couple of weeks to walk my dog down country lanes. They started to leak. I am very disappointed with this product. For one because of the short period that they were waterproof and secondly because they were on the pricier side of Aldi's products. My friend experienced the exact same issue with the same product which highlights to me a design flaw. Do not but! Beware! Waste of money!

We went in to the madeley store telford as a couple. Were both key workers and have to do our shopping together. A member off staff saw us walk in and didnt say anything. Walked straight passed her. Been in there doing our shopping and a member of staff comes over and asks if were together. When we explained we was together he escorted my husband out like he was a criminal even though he was leaving the store anyway as asked! Theres one thing being asked to leave politely and theres one thing being escorted out like youve stole something. There were loads of other people in couples so why were we the only ones to get escorted out!!!! Disgusting complaint email sent

Moved in with my aunt for lockdown as we both live alone. We went to Aldi today to do our shopping. We buy our own food so need to both go into store. My aunt doesn't drive. I understand the rules about only one person per household but we are not a couple!! We were not allowed to share a trolley but could both shop together if we had a trolley each. The manager said they needed to keep people safe but we were still allowed in the shop together. Couldn't share a trolley but could queue at the tills with people we don't live with where there was no social distancing in place. If you are trying to keep people safe Aldi then what happened to social distancing?????

ALDI needs to pick up its game. Most of the staff are rude and disinterested in providing any level of customer service. People shop in ALDI because they're cheap, no other reason. I get in and out as quickly as I can and don't bother acknowledging the cashier unless they say hello first. I suspect most customers feel the same way. It's sad considering the effect this must have on the mental health of the staff.

I emailed aldi last Friday to complain about a member of staff who was complaining about having customers in the clacton branch.. I wish I would have got the elderly ladies name who was left upset after this staff members outburst. Obviously nothing will be done as the reply I received was thanking me for my comments!

Today were to aldi Wellington, Telford. You can go in just one person per trolley, this mean you need to have a trolley and your wife need to have another trolley ( s..t idea). Two staff personal did not wear masks, they said they have asthma, ok they can ware face shields I think if they realy want taught rules. Even a guy with asthma can spread covid 19. Or the guys with asthma need to stay home with this restriction is tier 4. Ok they and came back to work on tier 2 ( I think). I took a picture with one of them and after this I was ask to leave the store. I need to mention me and my wife wore the masks all the time on nose and chin. After picture and challenge them to ware the masks one rude guy stuff from picture ask security to take us out. I will never use that store and I will post my story in all media.
